Heh if you play it right your spirts and yourself become one force of nature. I always played a tank main and pet class alts cept for wow(70 lock and hunter) plannin on spirtmaster being my main this time around.

1) I'd rather play a true DD in the long run. And I could see myself 2boxing 2 sorcerers. But I'm hoping they expand the classes to more than 8 so I wouldn't need to box an identical character.

2) Pets are fun to play but I loose interest in playing them over time. One of the cool 2 box combos I used to use in L2 was the dual warsmith. Bring out both pets and boom.

I've only seen spiritmaster things but i would choose it over sorc since I'm a loner so i guess having a pet to play with would be more fun, but then limited to only four spirit pets will really bore me even though they can evolve into cooler looking spirits I'll probably go for a class that can pvp on its own.

Most mmos "summoners" the player is usually killed pretty fast since they have pets to help them they probably wouldn't get much defensive skills for themselves and people ignore the pet which is a smart idea when pvp.. lo!

my main will be a spiritmaster probable named after my old eq mage domodred. been missin my mage it will be nice to play something similiar again.

pssht as for the pvp im sure with a lil skill spiritmaster will b a force to reckon with.

I'm definitely going to roll Spiritmaster first, just because I want to watch my pets evolve and grow. Plus, I like having one suited to each situation that may arise.

Oh, and yay! I was a tie-breaker to put SM in the lead.

My first creation will be a SM. I like to have summons that do my work. Magic and/or Summons always are my first choice. My 2nd choice usually goes to a other ranged class. I never really liked to stand close to my enemies. I rather have them death before they even get a chance to reach me.

I love to have a pet. To do more then just controll your own char. is always a challange. Having some dots and a great pet is just <3 As our gear aint so strong as a gladiator, my pet can tank etc. In PvP I also enjoy sending my pet to screw up whatever a person is trying to do, and dodge alot of the attacks by get out of LoS.

After exp from earlier game (WoW) I ended up with a wlock as my PvP class. Aiming for the same in AION.
