Elyos cloth armor

Does everyone just think that Elyos cloth armor is the worst in the game, for male and female? I just think it's the worst. Either I wear frilly hotpants or I fight in an evening gown. Even going to a broker and trying on the highest level gear, it looks horrible. I want to play a sorc and I have friends that play Elyos but I'm either going to have to reroll an asmodian or play something else.

Sorry, just a bit frustrated.

Yes... but I like some of the lower level sets because of their simple designs, so I'm probably just gonna reskin it (if possible of course).

Reskin for the win. The high-level robes look awesome on both genders.

For low level you can try to find Resarchers set level 22 (check broker),i think is a very nice set, at least on females.

I'm in love with that armor set since the first time I saw it, too bad I don't think it'd look good with my character's face and height.

I Really Really wish there were more choices for cloth!!!

I do Not like the sexy frilly dresses. I would MUCH rather have some pants and tunic choice. Much more real (for RP) than running around killing baddies in a bra, panties and cape/dress.

BUT then I REally Really wish there were more armor designs all around. You have this fantastic character creation with sooo many options and when you are done the ONLY thing that really looks different is the hair (or character size)!!

I want a UNIQUE character. This was on of the reasons I bought this game - I ASSUMED that the armor would have as many choices as the character creation - wrong!

I almost didn't roll a Mage because of the funky cloth look.....

Maybe DYE will help - but having to wait til lvl 30 seems a L O N G way away. (for the stat/look NPC for the looks)

Yeah, it's kind of depressing how most korean mmo's have the same generic armor styles. It gets old real quick.

I'd love it if armors were more like guild wars, where you could mix and match many types and things would still look decent, while still having lots of dye possibilities and where the looks didn't really affect your stats all that much. That and mesmer outfits where some of the best I've ever seen in any mmorpg to date.

Really? I loved the frilly more dress like appearance of Elyos cloth, its part of what made roll a sorc in the first place. I think it looks amazing, especially compared to the Asmodian cloth. I just love our cloth so much.

Cloth armor is one of the reasons I picked mage class! It looks gorgeous and is animated so well. The only class that is going to look like a warrior on the elyos side for females is priests.

Keep in mind when you hit 30 it is possible to change your armor to asmodian cloth if you don't like elyos.

Is a world drop try to search on Broker. The Set is level 22 green.

LemonPepper i cant find the vendor for that, im 35. Can you give me any clues?

You can get the asmodian set from a shugo vendor in Eracus Temple and another one near Lepharist Citadel. The one in Eracus only spawns at night near one of the waterfalls.

I found the Eracus temple one, but i can't find the other with chest and skirt. Is called Chicorinerk, but i checked two spots on Lepharist Citadel during hours and didn't appear, not sure if it shows only some days of the month or whatever.

No interest in that wanabe vampire look on asmo. I prefer asmo story/claw underdog kinda role tho but i couldnt get myself to make one for their ugly cloth endgame looks. But taste differs.

1. Give them time, in more patches they're bound to make more clothes
2. Do you understand how hard it is, as an artist to design clothing? Especially for a world that doesn't exist and yet it needs to have a beautiful elegant fantasy appeal? And you have to make MANY different styles just to appease people?
3. It suits the cloth class
4. They have actually quite a bit of different clothes, including fashion wear but you can even re-colour and re-skin most of the stuff!

I do however agree, that it does become stereo typically Asian styled but it's beautiful all the less, and I do agree that there should be some sort of elegant but awesome pants of some sort.
