SM or Sorc past 25 Who can Grind Faster?

It seams Sorc gets tons of things to Manage their Mana, Do SM's Have bad down time waiting on Mana? I would assume that a Sorc can kill a mob Faster but who is more efficient over time?

SMs grind faster, nothing beats an SM for leveling. Mana might be an annoyance from time to time, but nothing mp pots and mana regen juices can't handle.

At L.46, my SM can drain pet and recover 30% of my mana pool. Mana is not really an issue.

Not really true.
But SM damage comes more and more higher up, as sorcs ofc.
But with DP buffed pet, an SM can kill nonstop, equally fast as sorcs, but without downtime using some pots.
From 45 using Armor Spirit I, and at 46 with 30% mana back every 3 minutes (SMs have better mana reg then sorcs)

Only sorcs might say its equal cause they dont watch.
But sorcs that know SMs complain quite alot.
Sorcs got the burst indeed, but SMs have high burst from our pets as well, and more later on.

SM is fastest leveling class in the game together with Sins.
Sorcs are decent, but far slower then SMs.
Sorcs can kill a mob about as fast as an SM, slower when SM have Armor spirit I and DP buff up (at 45+)
But Sorcs have also more downtime then SMs and longer cooldowns.

Early mid level its quite equal. End level, 45+..we shoot off like rockets

Sms have little to no downtime but kills mobs slower

Sorcs kill faster and have some downtime (if u use robe of earth + absorb energy +Gain Mana I - - Aion (kinda like evocation), u have 0 downtime ....)

but also you can have zero downtime as sorc if you are willing to spend enough kinah in manapots

I was grinding in Putrid Swamp with my SM.

Started with full DP (4000), and never ran out the entire time I was there. Killing slimes and those other things in the water (they both die really fast) nonstop. I was getting 180k-200k exp every 10 mins (I timed it each time I used my DP) at level 23.

I have a Sorcerer at level 22, and I could never get that much exp in such a little amount of time (by just grinding). Without DP, I'd say Sorcerer is a bit faster. But with DP, SM > Sorcerer for grinding. Also, I have died a lot less playing SM than any other class (6 classes above level 20).

Sorcerer with gold +10 orb at their current level and full 4 slot level 23 blue gear with full yellow manastones with magic boost in every socket goes very fast. I've done this myself and it is faceroll.... like... badly.


Also sms are dp reliant and sorcerers are not.. with dp skill on sorcerer I hit more then... "OH MY F#%&ING GOD!" times 1000000000000000.


Must add: sorcerers have spike damage and best pve cc, sms howeever have a pet that can tank and hold aggro.. difference is sorc damage is far higher but sm have more survivability... as well as sms dont suffer from the same amount of casting times as sorcerers is a huge difference when you look at elite kiting.

At 49 I kill non-elites slower than my 48 sorc friend. When killing elites side by side I kill a bit faster, mainly because I can fear and fully dps it, instant fear then dps, fear again then dps, ae fear then dps, etc. Sorc has to do much more kiting.

With all that gear any class could be faceroll.

But if the gear is the same, I still think SM is better to grind with, specially with DP. SM's also have a MUCH easier time killing ranged mobs since they can just use a spirit to tank for them.

If you kill on average with your sorc every 30 seconds (normal mobs obviuosy) it doesn't cost you anything im mp with good managing of skills, if anything it's hp what needs to be looked after by catching the ocassional hits of mobs and especially ranged ones.

Uhhh I think the discussion was addressing legitimate gameplay. Sure if you BUY KINAH and trick yourself out in the most obvious possible way at lvl 23 (?!?!) you can blast through everything for a few levels, what a nyerking moron you are for even posting that....
