endgame weapon question

We got some orbs and books with +x% atk speed. does atk speed lower our magic spells cooldown or what? because i dont think it has influence on our casting time.

I'm pretty sure it's cast time. But someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it speeds up your animation follow through after a spell is cast.

probably lowjack ur right. so all in all u can cast more spells in long time than without atk.speed bonus.

You need it to do your combos. I have tryed using some combos like:

sleep -> Flame Fusion I -> Tree -> Zikel -> Silence -> Root -> AethersHold -> 3 (- 4 ?!) flames -> Magic Fist I -> (ColdAir -> Frostbite -> Coldair ) / (Sleep should work again depending on fights)
(this combo ofc dont work if ppl use potion to go out of silence/root or fly into the air or whatever)
Well without the attackspeed that you get in highend-game you are not able to bringup your CCs fast enough. Thats why ppl use the Stigma for faster casting in combos on Korea-servers in most fights.
And no its not cutting or shortening the globalcd or animations.

Attack speed and cast speed are two different attributes. The first affects weapons (orbs & tomes), while the later affects spell casting time.

Anything that affects your cast time will actually have a mod that actually says "Casting Time Boost +X"
