Overall Impressions:
I wasn't sure what to expect from Gamescom in Germany this past weekend. For starters, I never thought a gamers convention was somewhere I would ever find myself heading to, but after spending three days straight in the "mosh pits" of the Aion and Razer booths I can honestly say I wouldn't have missed it for the world. The vibe at the convention was simply electric. People were buzzing around with new levels of excitement...

Overall Impressions:
Saturday at gamescom was an entirely different story compared to the day before. The crowds everywhere were thicker and there was much less room to move. There also seemed to be a vibe of desperation where people seemed to be prepared to go to any lengths to get their hands on free swag.
Having already learned that the NCSoft and Razer booths were the best places to be, we cut through the crowd and headed straight there...

Overall Impressions:
Sunday was more of the same drama at the Aion booth, however much more relaxed and organised than Saturday. It seemed to almost be back at the level we saw on Friday, where queue's were generally better and people seemed less desperate to get their swag. It was nicer to be back to the calmer side of the storm and I think the NCSoft booth team shared these sentiments.

I think my boyfriend and I have finally decided what faction to play in Aion.
It's been a difficult decision over the past week because we seemed to say "Elyos" one day and "Asmodian" the next. Here we are in our 20's and we both sound like babbling teenagers when it comes to Aion, discussing every last detail of what we're going to be doing in the next beta. I think if we had been live on youtube for the past week, it would have formed one of those key moments...

Since I woke up this morning I've been in a rather poetic or lyrical mood.
It's totally out of character for me, I'm not the kind of girl who reads poetry. I certainly don't write it. Give me a good battle book with a flame thrower and sword and I'm on board. But anyway, most mornings my two brain cells don't engage for a good few hours, after toast and a good deal of coffee. Although I've switched to decaff recently, so maybe my two brain cells are finally finding friends in...
