Thats too bad. I would have liked to have seen them. Do you think you will ever try it again, although I am sure that if they are that sensitive I would think that it would cost much more money to keep them healthy.

Urgh, I've had dealings with people who seem to get all bent out of shape over what you described as 'pointless drama'. I guess it's a comforting technique for them to feel like what they are involved in is somewhat significant or important though. When a lot of the time it's a small issue. Shame really.

Will ProjectXI ever be completed? SE just had to go and code their game in such a way that it has a weird reliance on PlayOnline...Although so far the ProjectXI team seems to be making some sort of progress at least. In some ways it's a testament to their programming - WoW has private servers but FFXI still remains somewhat intact. Of course WoW has more people which means more people willing to work on a Private Server blah blah blah but still. I think we might see private servers for Aion popping up much sooner than I'd maybe like though. I know some people are already intending to work on it and soon as they possibly can.

Yeah around about level 14-15 with the Elyos I began to feel that repetitive feeling, decided I'd call it quits there. I think that's when grinding in parties begins to become a more prominent tactic.

In what way did Mysterious Player X go crazy? Haha, I could tell you a few stories about the mental kind of people you meet particularly on online games. FFXI in particular...

I'll show you some screenies tomorrow, I don't think I took any actual good ones, they were just moments where I hastily jammed the Print Screen key down and hoped for the best. They probably look horrible but at least the memories were precious. ;_;

Oh wow I can just imagine it, playing Gladiator with all those tasty Chanter buffs turning me into a POLEARM DEATH MACHINE. That would be pretty awesome...

I agree with you that the Elyos areas were really nice, it was actually just a joy to run about and take it all in. I just have a thing for snow though, and when you think of snow you always think of Asmo.

I'll definitely let you know if I get around to playing retail, I actually miss playing Aion despite not even getting much time on it during the Open Beta.

I say play Asmo, I'm playing Asmo for the sake of my friends and it'll probably be worth it. Plus black wings! You can't deny the cool factor.

Although I don't think I like the way Asmodian characters move so much, in particular the way my female Sorc ran about was kinda dumb looking. But I prefer the snowy landscapes, glowing red eyes and ability to have pale skin/bright hair colour. Do iiiiiit.

You decided whether or not to pay for Chinese retail yet? I must say I was very tempted.

Hey Fish! Yeah I played Open Beta myself, I didn't go too far in it though - level 15 Gladiator and level 12ish Sorcerer. I wanted to play enough to get a good feel of the game before the grind part started, I can do that when the game is actually released.

What classes did you play yourself? I personally really loved Gladiator (surprisingly) and found Sorcerer to be uber hax overpowered awesome. But the Chinese client was like Aion v1.0 so that was before any patching, for instance Rangers were god-awful when I played. My friend and I ascended on Sorc and Ranger at the same time and I thought he would be able to kill me because Ranger is the type of class that kills Sorcs. But there was one duel where he didn't even break my Stoneskin spell, which only adds an extra 100 Health. Aion is a game that will require a lot of balancing I guess.
