Yeah... I think I'm dropping AION for now. Maybe when NA retail comes around, it'll perk my interest again. Right now, AION will have to fall into my lap or a lot of people will have to tell me to play to get me willing to deal with NCSoft.

Valkyria Chronicles is good :P Its fairly charming, the gameplay is... solidish... ( there are a lot of small things that irk me about it ). The whole water colour aesthetic is very nice but its not the greatest thing in the world like some people would have you believe. Also, no AA blows and while you can kinda sorta say that it goes with the sketchy aesthetic I still find it distracting. Which kinda sums up my whole feeling about the game... SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but a lot of it squandered. Devs need to start developing with a PS3's 50GB bluray disk in mind and not one ****** 4GB 360 DVD. Still though, incredible game. I love it.

The second RE5 goes on sale, as in $15 off or more, I'm going to pick it up. Right now, I can't justify any full price purchases as I still have unfinished games. If I ever manage to finish all my games though, I'll be back to waiting in line on release night or something with $60 in hand. Maybe. Never done it before, don't know if I want to...

You can hardly say I'm overanalyzing things. Sure I follow general AION news like delays and stuff, but I almost never read up on topics about actual gameplay exactly so I can "just jump in the pool." I've purposely kept myself in the dark just so when I do play AION, it will be all the more exciting.

Except right now, the pool that I'm in right now? The waters fine and the maintenance actually works. Whereas the AION pool probably has just as nice waters but a defunct, if not outright MIA, maintenance team. So its kinda like... there's going to be no difference anyway, why bother? Sugar flavoured slow poison is still poison.

I <3 my PS3. Don't know if I care about AION or MMOs in general anymore. I feel like I've outgrown them or something.

I'll think about it. I have zero instructions and can't be bothered to care to look for them. I don't know if I want to play a multiplayer game where the parent company not only has made it apparent they do not give a sh1t about their target audience, but has an extensive track record of not giving a sh1t about said audience.

I'm sorry, if I want to be treated like sh1t, there are plenty of other ways to get that same satisifaction without the massive time and cash investment. Not to mention I work a job where I service a very large number of Asian customers as is so I'm practically swimming in other peoples' sh1t and I have to do this curteously. "Oh, that's your sh1t on my sleeve. Well that's okay, I can just wipe it off. Oh, you don't want me to wipe it off, you want me to eat it. Well, it appears we have a difference in opinions."

Unless your absolutely new to AION, the game has totally lost momentum. You know, I have like 11 PS3 games and 4 PC games sitting on my shelf, all of which I want to finish ( if completion is possible ) and another 5 or 6 incoming. Life is a balancing act requiring sacrifices. To play AION, I have to sacrifice time toward those games and vice versa. There are too many alternatives now and if I go with anything, I'm only going to go with what's worth my time the most.

I'm still game for AION, but only if the game literally falls into my lap or placed within arms reach. Otherwise, I'll satisfy myself with what is.

what the hell, that's sad. wonder if mine works o_O

there should be plenty of koreans that live in us and play from there, so it's not directly a smart move to block IPs :O maybe it's just temporary?

Ooh? How come you can't play? :O

Yeah it's always nice to have some "surprises" for when the game arrives, but it's always sweet to see if the gamestyle fits your needs and how your comp runs etc etc and try different classes.
