06-03-2009 01:13 AMFishy McFishWell ************. I just heard about the ******** that went down on here. I guess I'll leave. See ya on Blah if you're moving there. These forums turned to utter crap quite some time ago anyways.

06-03-2009 12:56 AMFishy McFishWaaah! FFXIV! I dunno if I'll play it.. Depends on how SE runs the game. I better see some drastic changes if they want my money. >:O
I think I lost some interest in Aion too.. Kinda burnt out on mmorpgs I think.. Maybe that extra year off while keeping an eye on FFXIV will help. *shrugs* -
04-22-2009 01:32 PMFishy McFishhehe alrighty. Yeah there are people trying to work on an Aion emulator atm, and yes projectXI has made some pretty big progress so far. I think the biggest issues at the moment is AI movement, but people are coming up with some decent methods. There was a recent thread on their forums showing how they've progressed with the damage calculations and skills.
ProjectXI • View topic - pXI preview, things to look forward to PART 1
I noticed last night that I was still able to log onto the Chinese servers. I don't know if we got some free hours or not, but that was a nice little surprise to me. :P I also noticed all my screenies suck. ^^ -
04-22-2009 08:10 AMLunaisUrgh, I've had dealings with people who seem to get all bent out of shape over what you described as 'pointless drama'. I guess it's a comforting technique for them to feel like what they are involved in is somewhat significant or important though. When a lot of the time it's a small issue. Shame really.
Will ProjectXI ever be completed? SE just had to go and code their game in such a way that it has a weird reliance on PlayOnline...Although so far the ProjectXI team seems to be making some sort of progress at least. In some ways it's a testament to their programming - WoW has private servers but FFXI still remains somewhat intact. Of course WoW has more people which means more people willing to work on a Private Server blah blah blah but still. I think we might see private servers for Aion popping up much sooner than I'd maybe like though. I know some people are already intending to work on it and soon as they possibly can.
Uploading my screenshots to Photobucket now, will show you some when they are finished! -

Well she was apparently bi-polar and had ADHD from what she said. So she started going on some rant over something that happened, and it was such pointless drama. I had nothing against her though, and still wanted to stay in touch, but I guess she didn't afterwards since she never sent me any messages after that. :P
FFXI was pretty damn bad at drama too. So much I hate about the game, yet so much I love as well. I'll probably spend the rest of my life playing the game once projectXI is finished hehe.
My screenies suck too. It wasn't until the last day I played that I found how out to hide the UI. >.>; -
04-20-2009 08:06 PMLunaisYeah around about level 14-15 with the Elyos I began to feel that repetitive feeling, decided I'd call it quits there. I think that's when grinding in parties begins to become a more prominent tactic.
In what way did Mysterious Player X go crazy? Haha, I could tell you a few stories about the mental kind of people you meet particularly on online games. FFXI in particular...
I'll show you some screenies tomorrow, I don't think I took any actual good ones, they were just moments where I hastily jammed the Print Screen key down and hoped for the best. They probably look horrible but at least the memories were precious. ;_; -
04-20-2009 07:47 PMFishy McFishwaaah! *gets blown back from your screaming*
It was nice. :P Although with most games it got a bit repetitive after some time. I'll agree the snow area for the Asmos was incredible. It may have been my favourite spot.
I miss playing it a bit too, but I'm kinda glad to take a small break cause the person I met that I played with for 3-4 days kinda went crazy on me just before beta ended. Kinda made things awkward haha..
Btw you got any screenies?

04-20-2009 07:31 PMLunaisOh wow I can just imagine it, playing Gladiator with all those tasty Chanter buffs turning me into a POLEARM DEATH MACHINE. That would be pretty awesome...
I agree with you that the Elyos areas were really nice, it was actually just a joy to run about and take it all in. I just have a thing for snow though, and when you think of snow you always think of Asmo.
I'll definitely let you know if I get around to playing retail, I actually miss playing Aion despite not even getting much time on it during the Open Beta.
ALSO HOW AWESOME WAS THE MUSIC IN AION!?!? -
04-20-2009 07:24 PMFishy McFishI'm quite tempted as well. If you do let me know, maybe I'll join ya.
I didn't like how Elyos ran either. It looked a bit goofy, but I did like the Asmo running animations for male.
The black wings were nice too. I'm not that fond of Elyos wings, but i enjoyed their environment just a tad more. Asmo areas are still beautiful though. So hard to choose. x.x
But yeah if you do decide to play let me know. ^^ I bet you'd like a Chanter stalking ya with buffs. ;D Unless you already have a Chanter friend that'll be joining ya. Then screw you.
