So ya, I met a LS of like minded people and finally caved in and resubbed, sigh. Why must sch tempt me so? I blame FFXIV, and I really want to see first hand all the changes SE has made. Oh well.

Been a while since I posted last, so I figured I'd share what I've been up to. With Aion (and pretty much any other game) months away, I started playing Fallout 3 again.

I loved Fallout 1 and 2, and it's always held a special place in my heart. When Fallout 3 came out, I admit getting nice and addicted to it (even giving up 3-4 hours of sleep the first few days). My goal is to get my new character to 30ish before the next and final DLC is released in August, so we'll see. Right now,...

What an interesting last few days it's been...

Returned to Aionsource after a leave of absence with all the nsfw pics that cropped up a while back. considering I read mostly from work, ya...no bueno.

I came back, like the day all the info on NA Aion is released: and Mark is gone, got my CE of Aion pre-ordered, and got a key that should work for the upcoming beta event (squeee). Now I can launch Aion, see the login screen, listen to the music, play with the settings...

Well, war's started for me as of this morning. Rolled up on the Kislev server, order side (go go underdogs). I figure, between this and WoW with my friends, I should have enough to keep me busy till Aion (I hope). Toss in the occasional console game and I'm a happy camper.

I'm getting sick and tired of Open Beta being restricted Open Beta. I don't care if it's Fileplanet Only, Pre-orders, or whatever; but it seems that more and more devs are restricting it. I'm sorry, but the term Open Beta means just that, the unrestricted, OPEN phase of beta. If you're not gonna have it, just name it, oh I don't know...CLOSED beta. Too many games need the stress testing from a real OB and come launch, it's painfully obvious they either didn't test the hardware/login servers...
