Using the 'Left-click to rotate camera' is a nice feature BUT, while in motion[flight/run], the camera resets automatically after panning the camera around anywhere from 1 to 359 degrees.

Makes gameplay not fluid, especially for PvP combat. Suggest letting players pan camera without the reset.
Also, sometimes I am unable to 'Left-click to rotate camera' while in flight motion.

Definitely the Crysystem.dll crash.
I can play in fort sieges if I turn everything down and shift f12. I'd really like to be able to see what's going on.

Close second would be the bots and gold buyers. I don't care about the gold selling spam so much now that NCSoft has really done work on it. I'd say make sure the buyers are quickly punished.
Also, might not hurt to have a separate info screen pop up at the creation of a new character saying buying gold = ban, click the OK button.

Here are a few things I'd like to see improved;

1. The Bot Issue--
Of course everyone playing the game can clearly see that this has gotten out of hand. We are not Korean, we are not Chinese, we are the NA/EU communities, that do not accept botting as a form of "playing the game". (And before you say anything, I was not being racist, I was pointing out what type of community we are.)

2. The crysystem.dll Crash and Lingering AION.bin --
There is no cover to this issue any longer, it is pretty clear that this is a major issue regarding the game's programming. Crashing on the newest MMO is discouraging, to say the least. When I know AION has closed, I have to check my processes, because it sometimes just likes to sit in there still sucking up my resources.

3. The Grind 45+ and Grouping in an MMO --
The grind post 45 is astonishing. Increasing some of the XP a mob rewards post 45+ would really help out the xxx mils of XP required to reach the next level. If you fix 3, and increase the XP a mob rewards, I'm sure grouping would seem less discouraging.

4. Abyss Forts --
I would like to see different layers of fort maps for each individual fort. I understand the top and the bottom layers of the Abyss have different designs, I'm asking for each individual fort (and there are not many!) to have different mapping systems so that each fort is different and has it's own obstacles.

5. Putting the Foot Down --
Extreme lack of GM presence in-game. I'm paying for this game, it's not free. I'd expect some CS when needed, not 6 hours later, have the game kick back my ticket saying I put it in at inconvenient hours for them and I should go to the support website. That is utterly ridiculous and should be addressed. Players should be able to speak to a GM within at least an hour after their situation has occurred.

6. RMT -- Nobody likes them, and purchasing Kinah in this game should be discouraged and heavily punished. I understand that they are playing on proxies and it is frustrating and difficult to ban them only to have them come back. But the way that NCSoft handled the RMT, which is still there and they still are spamming past your filters, was quite a kick in the *** to new players. New players cannot ask for help in /1, cannot look for a group to help with a quest in /3, etc. New players are new to the game and the game's mechanics. Trying to crutch on your tutorials, that lag, skip, and cut off, do not help. Your tutorials do not help the new players unable to view them.

7. In-Game Cinematics and Stuttering --
They just don't happen. I would LOVE to see more of them in the game, similar to the Abyss cinematic film. But there is a serious issue regarding video and sound in AION with cinematics. The cutscenes will lock up, skip, disconnect you, lag you, and just generally don't play. I understand this is an issue you are aware of, but please be more aware of it. I have made over three +25 characters, and still have yet to experience the Abyss cinematic that Baulder gives off. I am a Lore freak, I love to put the lore into the game, probably why I even got past 40, but it is hard to enjoy the Lore in this game, when you cannot even view it. -- This also happens randomly in the game with the sound, the game will just stutter, as in some random sound file will have some skips to it. It does not happen all the time, but even if it happens, it should still be a concern.

8. Channels --
I would like to see 2 channels in major cities (Sanctum/Pande). Trying to craft with hundreds of people around you really bogs down your resources. Putting in another channel will help alleviate the lag that people have to endure when going to a major city. I would also like to see at least 2 channels in Morheim and Beluslan, and the Elyos' counterparts. When you are getting followed around by someone KSing you just to grief you, and you are told by a CS Rep to just "change channels" in Morheim, that just does not work.

9. KS and AP Griefing --
I know people who have been under the attack of others. I, myself, have also experienced people running around and KSing mobs that I would be fighting, only to have them take it away. They are real people too, not bots. Being told that "no mob in aion is claimable" is not an acceptable CS response to griefing. There should be more punishment for people harming the experience of others, as it only deters them from wanting to even play the game. Another type of griefing is AP griefing, where a higher level will camp the lower level abyss to kill low levels just for the lulz. But the people on the other end of that grief camping are not lulzing, they are getting frustrated that they are getting one-shot by someone who wants to camp the Abyss and not let players play the game. I would propose a level cap on the lower abyss to 30, and require people +31 to go to the upper Abyss. This will help alleviate quite a lot of AP griefing being done on the lower abyss.

10. Quotage -- And finally 10 is a quote of someone who I completely agree with;

3. Don’t close the client when game disconnects. Put the user at the login prompt. Also don’t make my browser open up a page to your home page. Yes I have checked the setting to not open the web browser, but on disconnect you force it to open none the less.
4. EULA - Approve it once per patch. Nuff said.
5. Login - Remember account name.
6. Friends - Need two different messages here, if the friend doesn't exist then say so and if they are not online then say something different.
7. Allow petitions to be submitted 24 hours a day. Reporting Gold spammers should not be considered a petition.
8. Keybind for Target Enemy Player. Tab targeting is not efficient when PvPing in a area with many mobs.

Broker/Personal Trader:
1. With the removal of the long term Personal Trader without sitting at your keyboard, Allow more than 10 Items per character to be listed in the Broker. This could be done either by your shear generosity or allow the purchase of more broker slots. Or, Make the Personal Trader work offline.
2. When selling stacks of items in the Broker, allow purchase of individual units like in the Personal Trader.
3. Do not allow Personal Traders within a certain radius of a NPC. *Some stores are being setup right on top of NPC making them unable to be used.


Chat Frame:
1. Ability to right click a persons name and Instant Report/Block for Gold Spam. Your reporting feature is cumbersome and lame where I cannot report someone between 2:00 AM and 1:00 PM
2. Allow ability to set Font type/style as well as chat frame opacity.
3. Enable ability to change transparency.
4. Compare window needs to pop from links in chat frame
5. Items linked in chat, allow them to be viewed in the Character Preview.

Environment:
1. Put a Warehouse Master and Broker in the Crafting area. Crafting takes up a lot of inventory space. Which often makes them run back and forth between the Trade Skill Workbench and the Warehouse.
2. Vendor buyback. Need ability to buy back an accidental sell.
3. Free Camera Movement. If I move visible angle with left mouse button. Leave it there. At least make this a option you can enable, as we understand not everyone wants that as default.
4. More mailboxes in major city's.
5. Quest Accept button. Make Active without having to scroll down.
6. Inventory Full, Allow me to loot something I am already holding stacks of.

1. Bots, I'm sick of them, get rid of them already. You could assign a GM to any given area and you'd be whipping out the banhammer in no time.

2. The fortress siege crashes. I've only gone to a few of these and I've crashed everytime, resulting in my death.

3. GMs please? I'd like to see some support for this game. The game is doing well, you guys can take a bit of the profit and hire a few GMs can't you?

I have to disagree, the challenge is for your own patience and determination. Once the secret of any instance has been cracked by a guild/legion it gets U-tubed and posted for everyone to see which then makes it no challenge whatsoever for a decently geared group of folks with any sort of coordination. In most cases any "Hard Instance" is only hard for folks who are ill prepared.

The only possible way to make pve content hard is to add open pvp to it which then multiplies it's challenge and difficulty by a thousand times OR the instance encounters change infinitely so no one group can ever prepare for the fight and I don't see that sort of variable coming into play anytime soon in games it is just not possible. Grinding sucks but let's face it, it weeds out alot of folks who don't have the patience or determination to do it regardless of how mind numbing it is you cannot disagree that it is effective. Hardcore gamers get bored to quickly with games that allow you to do everything...this is why everyone is craving something more then what the WoW experience has to offer these days.

The flaw in your reasoning lies in the fact grinding requires zero skill or effort ( I can watch a movie while grinding ) so there is no challenge at all. It's simply boring in the extreme and doesn't belong in a P2P MMO because it shows "laziness " on the part of game-designers .I'll restate what I posted elsewhere regarding the "easiness of WoW " : that is a myth which is very persistent . Less than 1% of population of WoW has completed all endgame content .

My 2 biggest problems is the crysystem.dll crash and the damn botters and sellers.

I reported a piece of **** named pPhl that had a personal store set up right next to the Morheim teleporter on Triniel to advertise a gold/kinah selling site. About an hour or so later I got a response from GM Nina stating the preson was removed. I logged in today and the scumbag is back.

Fortress sieges are a slide show, with graphics turned all the way down, on a better-than-recommended setup, with fast Internet. Players are dc'ing every 30 seconds during sieges. It is simply unplayable and a flat out deal breaker. Fix the fortress siege lag and disconnects and you can buy time to work on the other issues. It should be the absolute priority.

Second, bots and RMT are really bad. You just simply have to get tough and do a lot of work to combat it. It's out of hand. You need GMs banning accounts, banning credit card number associated with those accounts, and investigating any accounts that have interacted with that account to trade kinah, high-end items, etc. Investigate and ban players that buy kinah, since they provide the demand for the RMT and bots. And, if you're not already doing it, you should restrict sales of game cards to within that market only - no selling game cards for the NE market internationally.

Consider taking away the custom messages for private stores. Let players select a preset message - a cute one-liner, followed by a list of what they are selling, based on broker categories (armor, craft supplies, skill-related, etc). Too many RMT advertisers abuse the private store message.

Spam is getting better. Good job.

Customer service needs a lot of work, though I'm happy to see the calls for feedback.

Complaints

1. Lack of a REAL in game GM on duty on EACH server...in shifts, 24/7. If "I" was a GM on duty....all I would have to do is watch chat, and travel from city to city while on shift. All I'd have to do is ban accounts when I saw RMT in chat, and Ban personal store toon's accounts when I saw them in cities.....easy-peasy. All it would take is ONE GM on duty on EACH server, 24/7...and that crap would STOP.

*About /auotoreporthunting: I have heard a rumor from someone I know and trust, that the software for this in-game feature is bugged and the Devs KNOW it. This person told me all it does is 'count' up to a set limit and then calls on no other function. Which means...it's a 'Placebo' and doesn't actually work as intended....which if you think deeper about it...maybe it "IS" working as intended....as a 'Placebo' for us sheep. Food for thought.

Also, As many posters in this thread have mentioned...it tests our trust in NCSoft when we USE the tools they give us to do THEIR job {or assist them} in finding and weeding out Bots and RMT and we see toons we have reported since they were level-10, MANY MANY {like level 40} levels later...still botting. Sorry, but that's not acceptable performance from a company like NCsoft. They have the tools to do the job.

As Yoda said: "Do or do not....there is no try."
