As always, I love lore.

I love lore, too. I think this chapter is definitely the start of the divide, tho. Riveting!!

Seems like Elyos descend from hippies and Asmodians from ego-centric individuals.

Who was right then, can the Balaur be reasoned with? Or were the Elyos content to hide behind the barrier, rather than actually trying to get peace? Gah! now we have to wait and see.

As a side note, the way it's playing out, I feel like I'd only create an Elyos to see the environment and play the quests there, not because I identify with their backstory.

The beauty of Aion's story is there is no right decision and I'm sure the story will be told in such a way that we believe either choice, war or peace, would have ultimately resulted in the world we see today.

We shall have to see, though. 2-3 weeks until the next chapter, likely.

Yea, we already know the outcome, but it's awesome to read how it unfolded. Can't wait to read the next chapter

I identify with both backstories.

The Asmodian side sounds like something I would perhaps do if I had fought a vicious enemy for a thousand years and felt bitter that other people wanted to give up.

The Elyos side sounds like something I may have done if I fought a vicious war and watched too many friends die with no end to the conflict in sight.

Let's see what happens.

I don;t understand who is Ariel, i looked her up in the list of the 12 lords and shes the only one out of the 4 they mentioned in this chapters that wasn't on the list. Is she under a different name on the list or who is she?
