Check out a new article over at the official European Aion site; it's all about those guys we called the Lycans. We now have an official name for them: Mau.

They would end up on the Menu next to the Shugo. They look a bit gamey though.

Yup, sounds like that's the name of the Asmodian's city, or half of Atreia.

I'm always fond of kitty races, I would look forward to having them as a playable race in an expansion years from now too. And yay for some sort of word about the Asmodian side of the world.

I think they look quite cool, but i think that because they seem to have mainly tiger stripes it somewhat limits the potentil, or something like that...:S i don't know what i mean! :P In one of the videos i saw a centaur like tiger creature, they looked interesting. (i am not sure if any of this makes sense, but i am so tired, i am trying to stay awake to watch E3 live on g4tv)

I googled mau, it's an egyption cat, seems to be mostly grey, unless it was the same cat.

Found an image of a mau from DAoC, it resembles a lion rather than a tiger.
