Second Closed Beta Details from NCsoft!

I really do hope that info is true.
It doesn't make sense to only be allowed to play as 1 race, ESPECIALLY since they're making the level cap so low.

well, i hope most people get keys for this beta event,and all in future,because theres many of us loyal aion followers, including myself cannot preorder ANY ce edition from the ONLY retailer in the uk because its sold out (yes one bloody retailer!)and also my ncsoft master account (which ive had for years!!) wont let me order a digital ce edition, because my boyfriend has already ordered one on his account,and its telling us we cant order 2 games at the same address

WELLDONE NCSOFT..maybe you should get your priorities right,,yes your customers!

I assume your talking about the future betas being as this next beta is asmo only.

just to add from what Darkwood said.

This info only means that you wont have to delete your "elyos" from the 1st beta in order to create an asmo for this 2nd beta and allows them to be both on the same server. (but again 2nd beta = asmo only)

This weekend's upcoming test is mainly geared towards testing the changes they have made to the starter zone instancing system, or so it would seem. (read: 10 servers available at once rather then previous four, to avoid the same clusterfock we had last time). Also, they may not, at this point in time, be completely satisfied with levels 10-20 localization. And another point, keep in mind they are roughly adding a few thousand additional testers after each beta, so it makes sense to repeat races / level ranges since there will be many new and fresh players experiencing them for the first time. The purpose of these is to generate hype, but this week's "mini-test" is more a test of server stability and to test the new instancing procedures, which is smart on thier part.

In other words; they want us mashed together to test the servers, and the next test is more to test the quality of localization for Asmos. Hence the repeat.

Yes, i understand that but, why cant they open Elyos side aswel? they are satisfied with it?, and maybe some players dont whant to play Asmodian, ok i get it try it once no problem, but the third event aswel only focused on Asmodians....hmm..

Wow; people complained when you could only level Asmo to 10; then when they extend the range to 20; people complain because they can't play their Elyos.

Though I partially agree, why can't we just be happy that we can play in the BETA period? BETA testing is a privilege you know; they don't have to let you play it. I'm just happy that I get a chance to play the game!
