I'm hoping for some awesome artwork, in-game items of course, and something to distinguish your characters in-game like Prophecies CE did, which was really cool I think.

Bought My GuildWars NightFall Collecter Edition,
the booklet does have Aion Online intro =)
I think it was out before the GW:EN pre-order.
Think this is my 1st post for the forum,
been frequent to this forum just to read and find some latest news
regardin Aion Online,just never actively socialize wif the forumer.
btw is cool and great community here =)

I'm glad that most of you are positive to the idea of a Collector's Edition!

I would like to, even though I'm afraid I can't, confirm that there will be a Collector's Edition available for Aion. What was printed in that little booklet is unfortunately a subject to debate. Aion was supplied provisionary product numbers for an ordinary box and a CE box for planning purposes only, and I'm afraid it wasn't supposed to be an indicator of any kind. Whether or not there will be a Collector's Edition of Aion is still to be decided.

However... I know you have already begun discussing it, and there was another thread about it a while back - If there is a CE, what would you like to see in it?

I would like to see items like clothing, hats, or weapons that look different then everyone else but has no higher or better stats. Maybe an artbook and maps are always very popular, music as already suggested that's very cool.

And just because I'm feeling extra nerdy, little figurines? Like FFXI has and City of Heroes with their hero clicks...

I still have my CoH hero click dude hanging out on my monitor.

Suggestions for stuff to go in the CE box, huh? Well, see, the whole purpose of the CE is to be a little different.

I believe whatever in-game stuff we get for buying the CE should make us OBVIOUSLY different/special. There should be a very easy way to differentiate between regular users and CE users.

Well, that's my opinion, at least.

all i ask is a slightly detailed map of the world (or mapS), in-game bonuses weapons skinz and the like and finally an article of clothing like a hat or shirt.

Would eb cool if you could have some ingame feature when you buy a CE ,to take an example you got gloving hand when doing emotes in GW.
Stuff like that would encourage many i think.

Vanguard's CE was excellent. Learn from that =)

Vanguard's Collector's & Guild Edition gave you:

10! buddy keys to get your guild into the game to try you
A special trophy to place in your guild hall
A cloth map of the world
a free 90 day subscription to Vanguard players (which the idea had lots of potential, but it wasnt maintained well, IMO)
A really nice box for it all. Not just one to put with your others or toss out.
A full color art book (the best asset, IMO)
An exclusive in-game cloak
AND the soundtrack.

(now thats doing a CE right.)

For Aion, I'd love to have that soundtrack in there.
I don't exactly like the idea of a poster because I hate my posters all folded up.
A nice high quality map of the world would be great.
There HAS to be something exclusive in the game for buying it. It doesn't have to be the UBER-Omega sword or anything, but maybe make a couple exclusive swords/armors and let the person choose 1 of each.
The guild idea was a great idea. Offer buddy keys for a guild leader to distribute to his clanmates and bring people in by the guild instead of by the person.
