Very good Interview, a lot of what he said make sense, I think releasing the game in the form it was in 7 months ago would not appeal to the west, the state of mind that the west is in right now Aion has to be damn near perfect or else people will just go back to playing WOW.

We all know what happened to those other MMO's that released the past 2 years (i,e AoC, WAR), releasing a unpolished or incomplete game is suicide, if Aion is going to beat the 500lbs gorilla it as to be near perfection.

Wait, wut? Last I checked there is absolutely nothing about eastern and western players "together". They are on different servers, and for the last 1.5 years they have been changing the quest text just for them to be different. But many of us, like myself, like reading and learning about the story and not just what needs to be done. Story line is an important factor in any game, including a MMO. To leave such detail out would cause a lot of people to not even bother with the game. Even if it takes a little bit longer, It's not something NCSoft can simply not add in.

I found something interesting while reading it:

Brian Knox:
Any MMO that launches is going to have some issues, and while Aion was a pretty smooth launch,
we?re going to be adding new content to our version,
based on the updates that have already come to pass there, and more balance, more bug fixes.

Isn't he confirming us, that the retail version will come out with patch 1.2/1.3??
