I'm not getting a pay to download error but I can't get a key. Chrome is giving me a "redirect loop" error and IE8 just loads forever after the form that asks for my name, DoB and email. Using a free account and I'm getting past the initial stage fine but getting stuck here. Would love to participate in this weekend, I've preordered but the store doesn't look like having my key in time

Anyone got any tips or am I screwed like some fo you other guys seem to be?

Step 1: Get your beta key first.
Step 2: Create or Log-in https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/pl...pl?language=en
Step 3: After logging in, the way right side says "Use a serial code" click and enter your key.


Step 4: http://aion.patcher.ncsoft.com/liteinstaller/aion.exe

Download Client!!

I wish I could help. I am currently using Google Chrome also, and have had no problems..
I also tried on IE, and it works fine. Too bad it shows me the same key, I would've got you one too

Well for those of you that can't get a key, I will be giving mine away in a day or two.. so be on the lookout!! lol

Same here, I've been registered since 1998 I think. But the important question is, where are you from? If you're from the US that probably means it's not an account issue, just a locational thing.

Yeah i'm from USWest. I assume it is a locational thing too, because it is a North American Beta Key Giveaway



I'll do some google'ing and see if i can find a EU key giveaway somewhere out there

Well there's plenty of EU giveaways I've been redirecting people to, I was just curious for an answer whether or not the FP giveaway is for free and/or has EU keys too. It seems the answer to the first is yes and to the second no.

It seems all the free user keys are gone, thus sending us to the subscriber only page, look on the popup it says Subscriber Keys still available!

Oh.. I see now where some people are getting the "This is for subscribers only" page. I made another account on fileplanet and tried to get another key and went to that page. Possibly the keys are for older members?

Well, how long ago have you guys tried getting your key? I got mine no longer than 10 minutes ago.

well my FP account dates back to 2007 so it should have worked, i just get sent to Subscribers Only and the pricelists

I can't even get that far

Not sure how old my account is, I tried signing up for this but it told me my email was already active so I tried an old password and it worked heh, I'm guessing its at least 12 months old because I don't remember having a FilePlanet account at all!

It appears that you must be a subscriber in order to get a key now. All free keys have been given out.

ATTN:

To everyone getting errors, especially "redirect errors" - it's IP blocked. Anyone not from NA/Canada or that region cannot get a key from Fileplanet. v_v

You get the error because it's redirecting to "ipblock.aspx" then on from there.

Do I need to level up another character to level 3 to be eligible for this prize too? It'd be nice if I didn't have to do it but I mean it's like 10 minutes so better safe than sorry I suppose.

The way I interpreted it the character needs to be lvl 3+ on the account that you created with the beta key. If you added it to an existing account and there's lvl 3+ characters on it already...I don't think you'd have to level another one. Takes maybe 10-15 mins to do it though as you said.
