For all those anxiously awaiting a shot at a North American Beta Key, FilePlanet has opened up it's Beta Event Key giveaway!

These keys are for North America only and are only for this weekend's beta, but heck they get you in, don't they?

For EU peoples looking for beta keys, there's a list here with sites that will be offering them!

Still deciding whether or not you're going to PAX 2009? Would the official Aion Launch Party in the Seattle Space Needle influence your decision?

FilePlanet, in addition to the Beta Event Keys they are giving away is also holding a contest giving away a trip for two to Seattle to attend the Aion Launch Party as well as the Penny Arcade Expo!

Play in the Aion closed beta event from July 2, 2009-July 6, 2009, reach level 3, and you and a friend could win a trip to Seattle to enjoy the Aion Launch Party in the Seattle Space Needle! Meet with the developers and visionaries behind Aion and enjoy the themed festivities atop Seattle's most famous landmark. In addition, get two passes to the PAX Gaming Festival to enjoy a whole weekend of gaming goodness.

The grand prize is a trip to Seattle for you and a friend to attend the Aion Launch Party. Only (1) grand prize will be awarded. This trip is a 4 day/3 night trip from 9/3/09 to 9/6/09 for the winner and one guest is to Seattle, Washington to attend the Aion Launch Party on 9/4/09.

As a reminder, Western CBT3 begins on Thursday, July 2 (12:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST)

Finally got a beta key. I was so disappointed that I missed out on the first beta key giveaway but I'm happy I will be able to participate in the upcoming beta. This will probably help me decide if I should pre-order it or not in favor of another game I'm saving up for.
