You guys are such tools. Count the months between 1.3 korea's release and our release of 1.3 (durr hurr 1.5). What does this actually mean? It means when aion is released here, korea will be getting their next update, making us the typical 1 update or more behind as usual.

ummm... this is completely incorrect. Korea is getting the same release versioning as us (1.5) and they are due to go live with it sometime in the next week or so. We are getting ours in September.

The last time I looked, there isn't 5 months between July and September.

So us North American beta players will get to witness the evolution of Aion over the summer, as it ascends from version to version leading up to its release. Quite cool. It's like, bite your tongue this week, because next week's update could switch to 1.2 and suddenly change your mind about suchandsuch.

The patch notes are like a road map to a destination where the game gets a lot better.
1.3/1.5 has so much more raw content. 1.2 to 1.5 add so many new bosses, rare loot, stigma mods, and player costumes. Frankly, I bet NCsoft West couldn't help themselves--they HAD to bring this stuff over for a major MMO launch. The updates are too good, and the internet is too knowledgeable.

Excellent news on the commitment to 1.5, and I like this goal to keep their game worlds concurrent across territories. This is going to be a very high quality game at launch.

Now you know how the rest of the world feels about Movies from the U.S.A. They always get it far behind them.
And mostly it's not malevolence on their part, it's because most other countries don't speak korean, so they actually have to go through translation, and bug fixing of those translations. It's not as simple as you seem to make it be.

Umm, first of all, Korea gets there 1.3 update sometime in July, while we get ours in September... that's only a 2 month difference. Secondly, if Aion indeed was created in Korea first, which I believe it was, I only think it fair that they benefit from it first (because obviously they've had to wait for the update too, and they had to play it when it didn't look as impressive as it does now). But like stated earlier, it's only a two month difference; it's not like we'll be waiting forever to obtain our update. Or would you rather the game launch with 1.0 instead of the 1.3 update. Let's not take a good message and turn it into a complaint.

As people already said, 1.5 has just gone live on Korean's test server, it usually takes around 2 weeks for them to import that patch into the retail ones, so, we'll see 1.5 2 months later than Korea.

Then, this is the last patch pre-expansion, so Korea won't be getting anything soon.

And if you are so upset about being 2 months behind, if you really give a sh1t about being behind Koreans 2 foocking months, then, you are the tool, not us.
