I believe the "internal sun from the center of the planet" that you mention goes by the name of The Tower of Eternity. According to the first podcast from NCsoft west / Aion Team, the Tower of Eternity ran through the center of Atreia like a stem runs through the center of an apple. They say that the Tower of Eternity was pretty much like the sun - it was the place from where all life and energy was bound to flow.

So unless I misunderstood something, this should be the answer to your question.

May have already been asked but limited time.

1. Increasing mail slots to min. 10 or higher. Sending 1 item at a time seems a little outdated and costly. Also cutting the cost down on the items sent to a flat rate vs. items type/quantity.

2. Increasing the WH register selection so we can put more then 10 items up for sale at once. If this is an issue do to size them limit the amount of time an item can be listed for. Like 24-72 vs. 7 days.

3. Add a selection in the inventory bags on the characters to hold quest items or NPC given items for quests and so forth. This is one of the biggest issues is dealing with limited space for drops on mobs because of the amount of items needed for quests. Also if possible set it up so as soon as the quest has been turned in, the items need for the quest also go away and dont stay in the inventory. Some items gathered for the quests let you collect more then you actually need which takes up room. Deleting them isnt the issue its knowing sometimes if you should delete it or not.

4. Increase the crafting time. The time it takes to craft is a little long. Not looking for you to drop it to nothing since part of the crafting experience is actually putting the time into it. But when your making 200+ of one item it can be a little long waiting on each individual to be made.

5. Any word on how many servers there will be at released on NA/EU? What the server size will be (amounts of players) and will the server size be based on 1 character per purchased account or on how many characters each individual player has actually made per account? Heard someone suggest that the server size is based on total amount of players made, including the number of ALTS one may have on their accounts vs. the actual accounts it self counting as 1 only. Hope that makes sense.

6. Will the server size be divide in half with a set amount of Elyos vs. Asmos per side. This way its not possible for one size to be any larger then the next if the server actually caps in server size.

Any plans for in game chat? Although alot of people have vent, it is a nice option if a pug forms and the person doesnt have vent. Also a nice option for us that DO have vent but are already in game and just want to join up and talk without disrupting gameplay to hop in vent.

Qestion: NA version is supposed to launch with 1.5 patched. Why are we beta testing 1.0 version instead of 1.5 or the version right before 1.5?

It's kind of moot testing an old version of the game when the release will be leaps and bounds from what we're testing.

I hope I'm not late but!

System Requirements Question:

Will this game support nVidia SLI and ATI's Crossfire multi-card solutions?

I only ask because of scattered reports of people saying it does, but I don't see solid proof from the dev's.

I get your point, but later versions really just add content, not massively change the game mechanics. This allows them to test stability in layers. Also we wouldn't be able to hit levels 35, 40, 45 etc in 3 days anyway...

Hi,

I agree that their times are weird, I believe GMT is the BST one while CEST is CET(GMT +1).

That would make GMT the 8pm one.
