The third Aion beta event came to an end on Monday, July 6th (12:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST). The Aion team would like to send out a virtual (and imaginary) gift-basket of Brax stew, as well as a big thank you to all of our dedicated players for another weekend of extremely helpful feedback! We are fully aware that many users from both Europe and North America experienced server connection problems during the test to some extent. Continually reporting what issues you experienced has been to great help for us as it will help to ensure that the issues faced will be eliminated. The more bugs we manage to squash during the testing, the fewer we will see come September when Aion hits the shelves!

Our next beta event is set to begin on Friday July 17th (12:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST) and will mark the exciting introduction of what you have all come to know as The Abyss. Stay tuned for more details and tidbits as we get closer!

Overview of upcoming Closed Beta Events:
Closed Beta Event #4 - July 17-July 20 Focus: Elyos and Asmodian levels 1-25
Closed Beta Event #5 - July 31-August 3 Focus: TBD
Closed Beta Event #6 - August 14-August 17 Focus: TBD

Also, just got an e-mail from Ayase and NC West wants some questions from fans for an upcoming podcast.

Please post questions about story, gameplay, classes, legions, or anything you think you and your fellow Aion fans are dying to know.

They will select the most interesting, clever, or kooky questions and answer these in the video podcast.

But we only have until Saturday to get these to them, so post them asap!

What do they recommend for PC and graphics card? and how can we reduce lag especially in the main city? Would banning street sellers in the two main cities help or is this just a side effect of limited beta servers?

The times given for the beta arnt in GMT - mind posting it sombody?

Question: I heard about the cutscenes - if you watched a cutscene, did the quest but died , would you have to watch the cutscene again before u can try the quest again?

I've got a Question.

I have a thread here talking about the Abyss Point Setup currently in Aion. I would like to know if there are any planned changes in the future that may result in a fix in this problem. It seems to scare alot of players about one of the defining features in Aion.

Will you guys ever re-visit the idea of being able to use other classes skills for Stigma? Would be nice to have heals as a templar if we wanted to sacrifice our dps or whatever for it.

Also, do you still plan on releasing content patches after 1.5 and do you ever still plan on adding swimming as an option?

Oh right, a question..

Currently shift + [ ] is useless if you move alot in combat, as shift + movement makes you run in 1 direction only, is this gonna change / gonna be optional at release?

Assassin:
Is it intentional that the Asmodian Assassin's racial '+100% attack dmg' skill doesn't affect skills? (will be a deciding factor for people who choose race based on racial skills).

There is allready another thread that is asking the same thing but havent seen any good responces yet so i thought ill ask here will they be changing the roll system that was on the beta i mean just roll or pass is not enough options it needs a greed button will that be implemented any time soon?

i got lot of questions but ill shoot one.

i wana know how much will be character creation limit per server? as you know you need 5 character to get all daevonian 30 level armor and to procced to get daevonian weapon you have to be equipped with full daevonian set. so i really dont want to get my character level 30 get 1 part and than delete and start with another character. also maybe i want to be master in 4 professions.
