online preorder they usually ship out when the stores shipments goes out so no store people to interfere with me getting my collectors edition

plus overnight shipping i have received my game before the game store did with a few of my game preorders

Heh, I love online orders as well - first of all our local game stores here (Europe) have probably not even heard of the game yet, and they never seem to offer any of those fancy preorder cases that the US brick-and-mortar stores do. Secondly, local gamestores tend to be disorganized and if they don't have something in stock they go "you're looking for -what- game?". *sigh*

Then again online orders aren't always great either - I spent all day waiting for my GW Nightfall CE to arrive (it was guaranteed delivery on the release date) while my guildies were off having fun without me and it turns out the !@#$ing mail delivery service had just plunked the box outside my front door without even ringing the doorbell... It's a good thing I don't live in a city or it would have been gone...

Guess i'm out of luck i picked up my pre-order from Gamestop they said they didn't have the CE right now but i might be able to up grade, now that looks like it's not going to happen

The Gamestop in my town thinks the CE has not been announced yet, lol. They don't realize they have sold out. Some people are saying that Amazon has sold out as well but I just preordered the CE two days ago and got release day shipping so they must have a few left. So if you are like me and want the box with all the goodies go to Amazon before they are gone.

Got my CE from GAME in Europe before CB3 with no problems - so just ticking off the days on the calenders for the next betas and launch

My thoughts exactly. As a former employee of Gamestop, I can attest to the company's capacity for underhanded tactics to secure your five dollars, which they will not refund in any way (since it's already converted to store bucks, that's $5 in their pocket - forever!)

I was reading that ten ton hammer interview with liv about the spiritmaster and kinda wanted to cry. She so made the Spiritmaster sound like the gimped little friend that everyone thinks it is when its not. Guess that just means I'll be that much more unique on release.

Ahhh Gamestop. Be forewarned people. Some gamestops will still reserve your copy of aion, both reg and CE.. and tell you "YEAH! We're getting more beta keys next week!" and then.. no more beta keys. Make sure you ask before you purchase.

As for spiritmaster.. I love the class! I've enjoyed playing it during the last closed beta, and I'm anxiously waiting to play it some more come next weekend! The interview looked awesome. I'm curious about this new pet the Asmodians get. It sounds really neat. I'll have to try the Elyos side to see what their unique pet looks like too.
