Now, why Fire Elementals have swords and shield at their 4. level (from vid), if they are ranged ones?

Wind should be healer, water should be ranged, earth should be tank, fire should be melee.

Ya kinda confuses me too but depending on the abilities they have given each elemental for all we know it could shoot beams out of its sheild . Seems thry went with the way the old EQ elementals were too in purpose anyho.

I played an Elementalist when i was melting me brains on Archlord and i gotta say this SpiritMaster seems tempting.
There's a vid on Youtube which shows two 1 vs 1 fights between an archer and a spiritmaster.
Fight #1 : SM has no summon and almost wins.
Fight #2 : SM using some low lvl fire elemental and wins by far.In the vid its very clear fire elemental uses melee atacks.
I wont pick a class tho if i dont get a final preview of all classes and their skills(both factions)

As in most korean games with summons, summoners will own face at a certain stage in the game .. weither it's early in the game or at end game, I dont know.

I hope we get to see that video soon, it seems important somehow. In any case, the name Spiritmaster is kinda awesome, and fits really well with the abilities of the class.

wot about Wind Elemental?

Press Release says video (singular) and brand new - I guess they mean for EU/US or new for members of the press
Or do they refer to the Spiritmaster^^ class introduction video?

Btw, hd was available @ off. kr page when they released those vids. - at any rate, its pretty good quality (10mb earth, ~8-8mb water/fire)

Mark upload the high def versions to filefront so those of us that horde HD versions of the Aion videos can horde them.

On the note of Korean MMOs summoner classes pwning. In L2 the summoner classes pwned in end game, but only at certain things.
