Zyuu and Irisviel decided to share with us more screenshots. Irisviel's settings are a bit low and are what you should expect to see if you're running parts near Aion's recommended requirements. If your computer's parts are above the recommended requirements, like Zyuu's, then you'll be able to run Aion with a few more interesting effects. Check them both out, regardless.

btw... many screenshots are missing in that one. I sent Zyuu more than what you posted, including the screenshots of this temple.. hmm where did they go? missing roughly 10-13 screenshots.

Oops, I'm stupid.

I took out the screenshots where the trees in the background were horribly ugly sprites. They were raping my eyes. ;_;

Really, huge trees as huge sprites is horrible. The Aion Team's crazy for lowering that setting so far for medium/low settings. Absolutely nuts. Huge blocky pixellated things all over the place? No thanks.

hmm.. even the ones with showing entire structure of temple? temple as in this giant tree with building on top of it. Oh and that area is just that bright for some reason.

This is what I'm talking about. All that should be 3D. It's looks horrible as a 2D sprite.

Nothing personal at all, Irisviel. I appreciate your work, but these settings kinda hurt NCsoft case that Aion's the best looking MMO out there.

Perhaps only trained eyes notice this stuff, I don't know. Personally, to me it stands out like an aging hippy in a crowd of young tuxedoed upscale partygoers.

They are very noticable. It's probably one of the "additions" the dev team added to lower the system requirements as much as possible.

Oh, okay. Thanks for understanding. I didn't want to upset you or anything. I just stuck to the images that make you and NCsoft look good.

Nah why would I be upset o.O I gotta admit some of screenshots I took are kinda meaningless and ugly lol. Although, I personally think they were kind of being lazy with this area.. cuz even with medium/low settings Verteron Fortress area looks very detailed and clean.

hmm... I just realized some of these "messed up tree sprites" aren't even that far from where my char is standing at yet they are all blurry and stuff. I really think NCsoft was being lazy with this zone.

It's just one tiny setting in the system.cfg file and in your in-game settings panel.

It happens when you set the focal point to one place and stuff, sometimes it happens even when you take pictures in rl, it's not that they messed up. Lighting and focus and angle can affect a lot of things, tbh it looks more realistic that way.
