It's some transportation system. This ethereal bird takes you from one destination to another. Think of it as a taxi service (or if you want to compare it to WoW, the Gryphon transport service).

It is both click to move and WASD

Game looks great - need to get more of my RL friend interested. WOW has killed the joy of MMOs for most of them.
