To my question --

How is the movement? Is it smooth or does it feel a bit restricting and not quite as smooth as say WoW (if any of you have experience from that).

Did you find combat slow? Or was it more fast passed with a nice level of interaction? Feel free to use WoW as a comparison.

lol that's one thing I wasn't able to figure out :\ people told me I could obtain more of those from quests but that's about it. I still have around 140 shards on my sorc and ranger.

The Water horse is a recent film based of the legend of the loch ness monster.

instead of being some type of dinosaur, pleasiosaur if i recall correctly the movie depicts the monster as a gentle loving mystical creature of scottish lore. hatched for an egg with only one existing in the world. hence the joke.

Templar should have a kind of range skill like throwing shield to stun a target. I really hated it in Lineage 2 playing a tank against archer, they slow you down than kite you and you are not able to land one hit on them. I'm kinda wondering this aswell...but it's not like I need it. Hmm...here's a gameplay question...do pcs/npcs stop attacking if you go around the corner? I've played a few games that don't make them stop attacking you even though your on the other side of a wall(perhaps two or more walls). I fthey do stop attacking then I don't have to worry about archers.

I remember in L2 an DE archer/dagger user tried to kill my Human knight while I was fighting some monsters in NoS...or was it Cata. Everytime she would try to shoot me with an arrow...step step step around a corner I'd go....hehe and of course auto-attack would make his/her character run round the corner and BLAM! shield bash...pull out my D grade duals....hehehe fun but in the end we couldn't kill each other, not that I couldn't but I'm a nice guy from time to time. The DE was attacked by mobs in the middle of our fight...and well I like fair fights(mostly >_> <_<)...I tanked the mobs and we killed them off together. And the DE promptly ran away. The End.

Question 1, why is the name of this thread say "We've Answers?" Do we weave answers into our own liking? Or what?

Question 2, Do the clouds in the sky move? Or is it a gigantic texture pasted on the ceiling of the world we know as Aion. Does the moon that looks like Vash from Trigun shot a hole through it move aswell? I really enjoy the skies in the game... I just want to know if it's animated. I couldn't find any good proof of this.

Answer 1: We've answers is short for "We have" so "we have answers" makes perfect English.

Answer 2: If you looked at any of the vids on youtube about weather or anything of the like (i think a few may of even been linked in this thread) you'll see clouds moving quite fast while others move slow (varying based on their altitudes and where the wind is coming from i assume) just like in a real life storm, and everything seems animated, at least to some degree, the world looks very beautiful and to get a glimpse of the sky and the world all you need to do is look for said vids and you'll find plenty that don't quite do the crytek engine justice due to being crappy youtube quality. However you'll still get a very good idea of how things are, and I'm sure they'll be polished more and more as time goes on.

Anyone else notice that all the item icons look very artistically well done? Sharp and interesting to look at images. That's a big yet a small thing for me. The crystal shards in your inventory look dazzling. The potions, fruit, rings, all look a step above all other MMO icon drawings. I love it in games where I'm gathering a bunch of interesting looking items, so I put them in a row and it's nice to observe. It's truly small things like this that marvel me.

Edit: Even has 3 completely different looking rings in her inventory.

I entirely agree Midgar, it's those little things that show you the designers and developers put work and thought into it, rather than having very bland and poor artistic representation. Something like that only adds to the ambience and feeling of the world, oddly enough icons and little things like that and how the shadows move and the light plays on objects is quite a big thing for me in MMO's and can make or break my interest if I see visible signs of laziness.
