What's up..New here..Aion looks like it's going to be good. ANY soft dates for North America release?

On Conan:

Been playing the beta and I'm just not impressed. The new combat system that was so hyped up is pretty bland. Day and night aren't persistent. You take a quest for your "Destiny" quests and it turns into night. In LOTRO you could watch the sun rise/set, that made me feel more a part of the world. BUGS out the wazzooo on the open beta. I'm using an abit IP35-Pro, IQ6600, 4gb corsair xms2, and an 8800gtx. I CTD within 10 minutes every time I play, there are myriad graphics and control response time issues.

Nope, no "soft" dates set, unless you believe Amazon.com's blatant lies. I would know if there was a date.

Also, I'm proud to say Aion doesn't have very many bugs like that from what I've heard.

This is intentional, to be completely honest. We were very pleased with the way AionSource turned out, and decided to run with this design as our fansite layout for any future games. It's hard to argue with such a clean, slick design.

Yep great new theme here and makes sense to use it else where, been using curse for sometime and thats a great site too

Will be playing AoC till aion release, hope its greatly improved in the next few weeks as my current client runs like a dog - but hopefully see some of you playing from Aion source

This is only for up to level 20 for the newbie tutorial area. After 20 when you are finally allowed to enter the big bad world, there's a full night and day cycle that lasts 2 hours. How it was supposed to played was that the first 20 levels were solo only, as in a regular single player game. But Funcom added the multiplayer day cycle and single player night cycles so newbies could do their character advancement quest solo as first intended but still quest and kill stuff with their friends if they wanted.

Did you play when they leveled your level 13 to 20 and opened the rest of the world after Tortage? I didn't myself, but here's someone who did: OP review
