Hmmm preview events in the next year? makes it sounds like Aion is still many months away! :\

well atleast they are not planning to release it unfinished like so many other teams does (ie currently Warhammer)

PAX will be your first opportunity to register for the Aion Exclusive Preview event that will kick off in 2009; other opportunities will follow. Go to PAX, play the Aion demonstration, exchange your e-mail address for an Aion slap bracelet and you just guaranteed your slot in next year's Preview event.

so there will be a rash of press events starting at the end of this month (August)... and then the first time the general NA/EU markets will get to see the title is 4 months later (assuming the events started Jan 1)?

if you mean a review of the official release, then yes... that wont happen until 09, as the game itself isnt slated for release until then...

the more interesting (and controversial) topic, is that we (US/EU) players will (apparently) not have an opportunity to "beta" Aion prior to release... and the first chance we will get to experience the game wont happen until "early 09"...

Lol, there's already a working build out. I have it and used it to play in the CBT3.
