Guide: Locating Dye Petals and the colors they produce

A big thanks to user BrizaBlackheart for providing the core of this guide to the community. The only things I've really added are the exact spawn locations, drop %, and summarizing their 4 articles into one.

As of right now, there is no way to craft dyes.

You can buy the basic Blue, Green, Brown, and Violet from the vendor or you can roll up your sleeves and get out into the world to gather these new pigments for your gear. For those who are extra brave (or really want a certain color) you can also travel through a rift to enemy lands in an attempt to gather rare and valuable petals there as well!

Clicking on each plant name will take you to the AionArmory with an exact location of all these plant spawns. Cool, eh? Get pickin!

There is roughly a 2% drop rate for petals while gathering.

Elyos side:

Wiki (lime green) -110 Gathering

Omblic (coral red) -165 Gathering

Meon (yellow-green) -220 Gathering

Ormea (orange) -260 Gathering

Tange (blue-violet) -325 Gathering

Ervio (sea blue) -355 Gathering

Lunime (gold) -385 Gathering

Asmodian side:

Vinna (ultramarine) -135 Gathering

Kirka (light purple) -180 Gathering

Brommel (gold) -240 Gathering

Pressa (orange) -275 Gathering

Merone (turquoise) -325 Gathering

Kukar (light yellow) -355 Gathering

Leopis (bright cobalt) -390 Gathering

You can always come to our side and gather the colors you want. I might do that with Vinna.

Thank you for taking the time to post this - it is very helpful!

It also illustrates the importance of getting your collection skills higher. Nice to know there is a tangible reward at the end for all that clicking besides questing/crafting.

Definitely for Asmos, Vinna and Kirka Petals are the best. I got some the other day, awesome drop

Good to know that there are many other petals in existence.
I remember when I got my first and was going to sell it for scrap until I read the description of it and, well, imagine my surprise!

i know colors like black and white exist, where do they come from however?
Do you buy them with real life money?\
also i heard something about "true red"?
