Update to Version 1.5.0.10, Gold Spam Pwned, and Happy Little Surprises In-game

Hey everyone, last night Aion updated to version 1.5.0.10- a small but amazing update. Here are the notes:

Aion has been updated to version 1.5.0.10 today.

The changes are as follows:

Gender Tag Fix for French and German languages
Updated Chat Spam Filter

Now, you may or may not have noticed, but there is almost zero gold spam in the general channels now. The ones who have managed to get through are forced to rely on cryptic characters in an attempt to get their URL out to people. How is it working for you? I'm interested to know if all the servers are as spam-free (in general chat) as Triniel is. There are still some spammers via in-game mail, but it shouldn't take too long to deal with them as well.

And speaking of in-game mail:

You may have noticed a happy little survey at the bottom of your screen when you logged in today (if you were an active account as of 10/15). With that simple, one-click survey was the much coveted Lodas Amulet (the same that pre-order customers received) complete with 5 charges! When do you plan on saving your amulet for? Are you going to use it to get through the 30s or wait for 40+? Pop one before an instance run? Share your thoughts as to the "best time" to benefit from the effects of the amulet!

make sure you do the survey on your main char

seems like 1 per account? my alt has them

I had only 2 gold sellers during about 2,5 hours of gametime.

Awesome for me. Also, I thought those things are account-based? I mean, would be lame if you accidentally opened a survey not knowing about it just because you were on your alt...

This was amazing. I thought I had all my chat channels turned off for a while.

Very refreshing.

5 more amulets to add to my warehouse for the 45+ grind =D

Absolutely wonderful! I was able to clear my entire block list and stare at my channels for over an hour without seeing s single spam.

Although I have noticed an increase in personal mail and private shops advertising the gold seller URL's, it's not nearly as invasive or detrimental to the community as a whole. It's much easier to track that way as well, or so I would imagine.

Now! If only they'd fix the crashing issue on 64-bit systems everything would be perfect.

Gold spammer pwned on US Servers I guess, or then on anything but Spatalos cause today we had more of em then yesterday...

Also while you're at it - make them stackable with the previous EXP amulets, if it's possible.

Just logged into my alt first, gave the new Lodas Amulets to him first, decided to log into my main a bit later, nadda.

Was on my alt aswell when it happened.. Seems kinda silly really. My level 5 Scout that I am most likely not gonna level within the next 2 months anyway, now has a total of 10 amulets ...

Noobish question, but how did you get that many? O_O I thought it was one per account up til now.

The people who pre-ordered the game get 5 per character. This survey gives you 5 more. Thus you can have 10 total on 1 character if you pre-ordered.
