PCGZine Issue 21 is now available for download right over here. The cover story this month is about nothing less than Aion: Tower of Eternity, put together by their team of games journalists.

The six page hands-on preview covers some of the gameplay and mechanics of the game more in-depth than you would traditionally find in a magazine. It also includes some new screens, including a fully annotated skill chain, as well as exclusive videos, desktop wallpapers and an interview with Christian-Peter Heimbach, our Product Manager for Aion here at NCsoft Europe. To take part of the magazine’s contents you will first need to get your hands on Adobe Reader 6 (or later), if your PC does not have it installed already. So, why are you still reading this? I'm loving the exclusive video in there! Great article too!
The whole thing explains quite well to new players the system of character select and of the world itself.
Thankfully they say that there is no Good vs Evil.. wish people would grasp this !

I was supprised to read that Aion is 70% completed though..

There is also a nice piece in there explaining about the combo's and how they are setup, as well as showing a part of the combo 'tree' for the gladiator class.

Just noticed the bit about the emphasis on micro-transactions. ARRGH.

If they go too far down that road, I will not be playing, tyvm.

A PvP game should not reward those who sink the most money into their character.

(Yes, I'm aware of RMT, but at least that should be frowned upon, bannable, and against the TOS.)

I hate micro-transactions as well. I'm hoping, if it is there, that is just for aesthetics and not for anything that could really make a difference in game play.

YAY! Getting closer and closer to fulfilling my lifelong dream of Aion Addiction! Hope it comes out before March, cause i'd love to be playing for my Birthday. The game looks amazing so far, and everything about it looks awesome! Especially the art direction... i must say, this is one of the best looking video games i've ever seen produced! I truly hope this is a trend in where video games are going.... make them so stunningly beautiful that you feel completely immersed in the world =)

Anyhow, this article just makes me more excited for the real thing!

is that where you can buy items online with real money to improve your char, much like Free MMOs? if so i won't play either. . .

May 1st should be the release...thats my Bday.......but April will make it so that i can experience WoWs expansion first.
