It has a lot more to do with legal issues and international law than it does with NCSoft or AionSource's intentions. Quite simply Canadian contests require clauses like "No purchase necessary" and sometimes, depending on the contest, need you to answer a skill-testing question. Many I believe need to be registered with the local provincial government and need to be approved as non-lottery and non-gambling.

Since it's kind of hard to individually verify the contest's rules apply to Canada, Sweden, England, France, ... and so on, it's easier just to offer it to US Citizens only and be done with it.

To be clear about a couple things-

1) Laws are putting the restrictions on this contest, not us.
2) We are in no way affiliated with NCsoft or NC West. We're just friends.
3) Every part of this is open to the world BESIDES the grand prize because it is a tangible prize that would have to be mailed. We have both NA and EU keys for the potion packs and while I'm sure everyone would want a chance at the grand prize, it's unfortunately not possible.

On a sidenote I thought it looked somewhat weird that the "grand prize" (a bag full of sweets)
is only going out to a member of 18+ ^___^;

All information will be given through the daily ~~interrogations~~ interviews and so it won't matter whether you are Elyos or Asmodian for the contest. If you're an Asmodian, you may want to shave your backfur for this event and head towards Poeta.

Awesome! Im from EU but i dont care really, Just to see such an event like this is fun even without being able to win.
So now my nooby question. Will the interrogations be posted on this forum and then you will be able to see suspect nr 1?

ps; you're lucky im from the EU because ive watched every Colombo, Miss Fletcher and Monk episode! ^^

You can still win the in-game potion packs, just not the grand prize. And yup, interviews will be posted and discussed here.
