I was entering the names of some of our prestigious friends at NCsoft into Google when I stumbled over this little gem of an article, now obviously outdated due to the creation of NCsoft West. Has anyone else found any odd articles about NCsoft staff? I know I found a few about Curse.com's CEO when they first contacted me, and then I tried Googling (is that even a word?) myself. No luck, guess I'm just not important enough yet.

EDIT: Also, I've got a TON of NCsoft stuff now that I need to use in a contest. Does anyone have any good ideas?

how about a lotto every one who is active gets a number, 5 numbers are drawn because their are so many people on this site then the lucky 5 the placed in their own poll then 1 number gets drawn then you have a winner.

Why not make fanart contest or something like that. Then you could have a sticky gallery with fanarts from aionsoruce members. Like 3D-art, drawrings, maybe a selfmade movie with some mates etc... Make some fun out of it. Imo a lotto is just plain boring. Randoms who wins and no effort wining the "stuff".

I could go create an article about you on wikipedia or for even more humor urban dictionary if you want to start your web popularity.

As far as a contest you can do Daily Trivia question via a special poll. You set up a poll with multiple choices and what not and the first x amount of people get swag. The only draw back to this is time constraints. There will most likely be several active members asleep when you post the thread. You could also hold a Aion costume/Aion Pose Picture Contest. Where members dress up or somehow make another Aion type of photo with them in it and post - the ones you like get swag. (Kinda like the Captain Morgan Pose off.)

EDIT: A lotto has more to do with luck and and isn't really a contest IMO.

we've had referral contests, and signature contests, etc.

perhaps the next few contests should be purely "enter to win", requiring no artistic (or other) abilities...

i like the lotto and trivia suggestions... what about an as "ask the developers" fan interview? members of the forum submit questions to be compiled for a fan interview... selected questions are then in the running to win some Aion swag...

No one likes my Aion Pose Off idea? It requires next to no skill except for creativity. . .

The lotto is a horrible idea - Enter to win requires no skill and what happens is people enter to win 50 times on different accounts and can cheat the system. There are ways to know this has happened which i am well aware of but it still happens none the less. Plus it isnt a "contest" it then becomes a "raffle".

I think we should do a self made Aion Trailer Contest. Basically everyone who wants to enter needs to make a trailer like 2-4 minutes long and we should add different categories like Comedy, Action, SuperAwesome, Most Beautiful, ect. And maybe do a complete surprise category where they pick the worst video out of them all and gets a prize. I guess its not much of a surprise now...

Not a fan of the lotto, but doing art or a story might be nice. Or fan fiction lore would be fun.

that's why i said active members you would need a to have 1.00 post per day min, not every one has the skill or time to enter, if you fell like their is no effete in this comp then go find a some hobbies to tie your interest

So your saying because i don't like the idea of a lotto and that i think a contest should be a contest - That i should go elsewhere? kinda "My way or the highway" kinda deal? Thats very bad PR Plasma06 - especially from a Guild Master.

Very well. I understand, and he is right. You shouldn't have to have skills to participate but i still think it makes for more a competition.
