Howdy folks, well NCWest has been kind enough to give out a saving grace to those of you still seeking the CE advantages of Aion. We've also got our lovely server maintenance for this week (I was leveling, QQ!) and all the usual jazz.

While we wait for the servers to come bcak online now is a great time to check out the latest update (Day 4) in this year's Aionsource Halloween Event.

Weekly Server Maintenance 10/28 3 a.m. PDT

We are bringing the NA servers down at 3:30 a.m. PDT (more), October 28, 2009 for scheduled maintenance. The maintenance may take up to 2 hours.

A pretty brief notice unfortunately with no mention of patches/updates. Guess we'll just be enjoying some routine hardware maintenance this morning! We'll update this news post accordingly if a patch should appear

Special 48-hour Aion Collector’s Edition Upgrade Purchase Window

Apparently people are absolutely clueless as to the CE being available again so I've decided to throw this in the news yet again. You can find the original mention here.

Due to an internal error that caused availability of the Aion Collector's Edition Upgrade to end early, we're restoring the ability to upgrade between 12:01 a.m. PDT on Thursday, October 29, 2009 to 11:59 p.m. PDT on Friday, October 30, 2009 (more). Please keep in mind that this will be the last opportunity you will have to upgrade to the Aion Collector’s Edition.

During the above listed 48-hour period, upgrades to the Aion Collector's Edition will cost $10.00 USD and will include the digital in-game items found in the physical Aion Limited Collector's Edition box.

Exclusive in-game items included:

Black Cloud Wings (gives 40 seconds of additional flight time)
Black Cloud Earring (gives an HP and an MP boost)
Special character title (Settler of Aion) with stat boost
Rich purple dye to tint 10 in-game items
Two character emotes

Keep your eye on the NCsoft store this Thursday for your chance to upgrade to the Aion Collector's Edition!

can anyone confirm if the lodas amulets for exp boost are still included in the ce or not?
i dont see it mentioned on the ce page =/

Those Lodas amulets are pre-order bonuses, IIRC.

Anyway, I wanted to buy a second CE upgrade. I bought a second regular account, and then wanted to add a CE to that.

I got the following message.

Is this offer still open? I can't see the upgrade in the NCSoft store and when I try to click upgrade on my account screen, it asks for a serial code

EDIT: Nevermind, found it. Won't accept my card payment though and connection to Paypal is refused

EDIT: Forget it, too tired. Going to bed. Brain fail

Slightly o.t, but when do we receive these items after we upgrade. I did a few days ago and whilst I apreciate the wings might not be available until L30, but what about the rest.
