Steel Beard Pirate's Boots is getting a increment in speed boost but at a trade off with magic boost?

Fail!

Don't expect any sorcs to go SR then for the fail set.

Way easier to camp Sartemon for Anointed Shoes.

increased the drop rate for the repetable quests in steel rake but not of the quest thats the most important, for the 2nd advanced stigma slot?

I just want them to give a rough time frame as to when this is being added?

We did 2 full clears on every single mob in the labs last night and not a single book dropped.

I was running a pair of 5870's in xfire but didnt get much in the lines of a performance boost @ 2560x1600

sure you can overclock higher, i was meaning you cant go buy a 4.2 i7 system off the shelf and i highly doubt ncsoft is testing on overclocked pc's

It's coming in November. They should have worked overtime and brought it out this week, it's been on the test server 2 months already.

Yes patch 1.5.1 was deployed on the test server in September. Incoming Updates to 1.5 (XP Boosts and Flying Beasts o_O)

Most of the changes to drop rates and XP should have taken a few days at most to implement. Surely these things aren't hardcoded and could easily be adjusted in their database.

I am not overly impressed by the whole Magical Accuracy stat on the Chain Set for the Pirate Instance. But meh, moving the speed boost to the boots makes a hell of a lot more sense.

I am a Quality Assurance Analyst in RL and test software every day.

If you are not in the development industry, you have no concept of how long things take to code and test. Neither do you have the capacity to understand the mechanics or metrics that are involved in software testing. Having a patch the size of 1.6 on a server for two months is nothing people! I am more nervous about the bugs that are going to be introduced by the changes, never mind the fixes for the current bugs. I have seen systems half this size take more than 6 months to go through cycles of smoke, sanity, beta and regression tests. You have no idea the work these people are putting into it.

I am not saying that I am not impatient like some of the rest of you for these fixes. But I can certainly empathize with what the development group is dealing with.

Until you have actually worked in this industry yourself, you have no idea.

searched everywhere and i have to say NCSOFTs information policy is worse than anything i´ve seen so far. I guess we just dont know if we get a patch or not, its only speculation.
