This is what’s going down in Aion-town:

The development team in Seoul is still munching through feedback and preparing for the arrival of Korean Open Beta, making sure that the game is just where they want it.

On our own part (Community Team in Brighton) we are working on a few community-oriented items that in some time will surface more unexpectedly than you might imagine. All in all, things are still progressing very nicely and the time will eventually come for you to see the fruit of our efforts.

Does korean open beta mean that those outside Korea can play it? Or what?

If the Korean open beta was open to anyone, it would be... open beta.

No, they are taking measures to ensure that ONLY Korean citizens can play the Korean Open Beta.

Besides, anyone who can't read the language isn't going to be able to help the developers debug their game anyway. That is, after all, what a beta is for.

For those who simply want to play the game for free, wait for the English Language preview events that are only a few months away.

i dunno, my imagination can run rampant... as long as we're not talking about naked yodelers announcing PE slots, or anything involving carnies, im good...

Yeah because every Korean in the beta open or closed is doing it to help test the game. :P

I'm not saying they are, but if/when they do come across a bug, they are able to report it.

as long as the future announcement don't include competitions or chance based events to get a Preview Event slot I'll be happy enough. should be a simple sign-up method. available for at least a 4 week period and then people should be gradually let into the EU/US beta. simple as.

I already bit all my nails off.... what am I suppose to do until then? O.o Eventually it WILL be out,I keep tellng myself that but its so PAINFUL sitting here waiting T.T
