I'm 37 now and I'm lost on how to get to 38.

Any quests I have are too high for solo or Group required. And when I say group, I mean everyone else should be in there low 40's to have success.

Interestingly, they had months 7-12 listed as well... "to be announced."

This Wall of EXP is ridiculous, and exp for quests and mobs needs to be significantly raised. This game is about the end game and fortress raiding, so the draw should be there and not on an insanely boring grind that forces you to solo because it punishes grouping.

This is the level progression for Ragnarok Online, and even this pales in comparison to Lineage 2 grinding.

TL;DR: in RO you need a total of 405million exp to get to 99. 100million of that exp is from 98-99, 58million from 97-98...essentially you are halfway to 99 when you hit 96 and 75% of the way when you hit 98.

The mobs give exp ranging from 6,000 to around 20,000 depending on the area, and now you can enjoy aion.

EDIT: Thats just for non-transcendant chars btw. You need a total of 1.2 billion to hit 99 Transcendent...btw you are grinding the same mobs. lol.

wow - what an epic fail.
Reading through the patch notes, i thought finally there was some end in sight to the dull monotonous grind that aion is.
But no, it maybe easier getting from 1-30, but levelling post 30 is still going to involve grinding x-thousand standard mobs or x-hundred elites per level.

Give me quests with some juice in them - not kill x-hundred mobs to get a piece of armour or a coin.

I'm so sick of the grind I'm beginning to see the upside of botting *gasp*
