Aion 1.5.1 Patch notes, part 2!

Aion really needs a tool like the right click report spammer tool that LOTRO uses. Of course they have a fair amount of GM's something this game severely lacks.

Where does it say that? I see increased drop rates on a boss in an instance I haven't run yet, but not a sweeping change to overall boss drop rates in the game. Maybe I just missed it?

2. Changed the drop rate of class Skill Books in the Aetherogenetics Lab and Alquimia Research Center.
- Slightly increased the drop rate from monsters in the Instanced Dungeons.
- Greatly increased the drop rate from the final bosses in the Instanced Dungeons.

I see that, but I read that as only effecting Aetherogenetics Lab and Alquimia Research Center. :/

Something I've noticed that maybe devs will wanna look into, the bots seem to have switched from aether/material gathering to fighting mobs for their money. I'm noticing a LOT more generic guys with names like gibberish/"insertnamehere-sama"/etc. on clearly programmed patterns killing mobs. I do my part and report 'em, but it's something to think about.

1. When you extract Aether, there’s a chance that Aether Poison Gas will infiltrate your body. The poison blocks gathering for a certain period of time unless you detoxify the poison.
- Once you are poisoned the only way to detoxify yourself is to utter the "Cleansing Word.”
- To utter the Cleansing Word, type the randomly given letters and numbers within the designated time
- When you utter the Word, you get three chances to enter the correct letter/number sequence. If you fail three times, Vitality Extracting and Aether Extracting are prohibited.
- The “/ExtractStatus” command provides your extraction status.
- When you have Aether Poison Gas in your body, you can still move and activate other abilities, so move to a safe place before you utter the Cleansing Word.

Aether gather is bad enough as it is, this will make is so bad that I will cry whenever I think about gathering.

I'm just concerned about the quest exp. If a major campaign quest still only gives me like 3% of TNL when I'm done, well...

Dunno about you guys, but I've never, ever seen a bot collecting aether while I was still playing.

Like aether collecting is not hard enough already, you now how to type a captcha, which stops noone from botting it.

This game has more bots then all the mmo's put together I have ever played.There are no gm's in this game it seems.the bots are soo bad on my server/You cannot do any quests outside any of the cities.The bots are higher lvl and steal kill everything.If something doesn't change on the botting I will cancel my account/kids account/and girlfriends account at the end of this month.

Botting issue is an easy fix.Put some damn gm's in the game.The botters are rampant and reporting them does no good in this game.I still see the same botters day after day.

Bots/farmers can be fixed by hiring someone to watch the servers. They go to every zone and watch for certain behaviors amongst other methods.

By following someone for maybe a few hours/days you'll have the needed evidence to ban them. I don't pretend I understand everything about this subject, but imo more can be done.

Yeah D: Glad I'm not the only one who was confused about this! I haven't ever seen an aether gathering bot, so x_x. Aw well. As someone who's also quite hurt about their ideas for fort defense, I hope they'll listen to the concerns here

Man, all you raging nerds need to calm down. Oh my god, they didn't fix every single nyerking issue in this patch.. which isn't even a major patch. It's just mostly minor changes to **** with a few new features.

Yay! They stopped the bots from gathering Aether.....but how/when are they going to stop the bots from BOTTING?

This only makes gathering aether more of a pain in the butt.
