Totally, this is what worries me about NCsoft, if your game doesn't make enough and bring in enough people we will shut you down. I was never a fan of the RG, but I expected a lot more support for Tabula, then again we don't know what their bottom line looks like right now, it might be pretty bad.

Fury and Hellgate London shut down and/or sold out, but they were created by smaller companies no? I don't remember too well.

Thats why you should consider buying Aion the very first day it will show up and play it a lot for the first few months till you will reach endgame and will be able to quit in peace :P. But seriously i hope that Aions community won't die out so fast...

no, you arent... there is no OB for NA/EU, only preview events... which will have signups in the near future, but the consensus is that if folks want to play, they will be given the chance (eventually)...

Between Arena.net and NCSoft, I growing even less and less confident in their support for their MMOs. Even if their just making TR purchase only, this is basically their back door out of supporting or taking responsibility for their games growth, if I was NCSoft Korea, I would cut all ties with NCSoft West, and change my name to announce that they arn't going to behave as poorly as their counterpart.

If their making it into some cash shop game, than their bastards, poor decisions like that could very well ensure that I never play anything related to NCSoft.

I honestly havn't a clue, I tried to search for it. Either way, from what I've seen, if it is purchase only, and they can maintain decent support quality, it would be worth a purchase, kind of like Guild Wars. But so called "F2P" games always introduce trash to the game in order to instigate their cash shop, like more grind, annoying obstercals, and so on, just to make it difficult to play an promote their sale items.

Umm, guys, TR is F2P for one month, from January to sometime in Feb. In Feb it shuts down...forever.

TR is a wonderous game. It's sad that it never achieved the popularity it needed, for whatever reason. The Devs and GMs there were extremely friendly and involved in the community. I'll miss it terribly.

Anyone who's got a TR account, get on board for those last 2 months There'll be a whole bunch of us there 'til the bitter end.

So, this Aion Beta we're apparently getting (as part of the TR package) - is it not an actual 'beta' period? Is it just(!) like a preview weekend or something?

WTF is wrong with them, if their collecting a subscription why can't they keep a damn server running? I would have expected GW to collapse first, but TR shutting down, how is that going to save them money?

****ing morons, they need to release the rights to the game and let players make their own servers.
