I have to wait and see the difference between cleric and chanter... every group need someone to keep the DD alive... but if u use some paladin with super amazing buff... u can manage to get a good party set up... altho... I dont know how the hate is controlled during fight...

I'm gonna play a Chanter, I'm not too fond of being the "main" healer of a group and this fits the bill as I can somewhat still hit things lol.

I will be a cleric, I enjoy being needed in groups. I like the fact that I will be able to form groups without a hassle, and I have a lot of pull in the group. Meaning if someone sucks I can say either me or him. DPS usually is a dime a dozen and at this point in time it seems like cleric is the only viable healer.

Cleric for me.
I enjoy the challange of learning and practising a heavy healer class (Been to everything endgame in wow since release as a priest) its jsut fun to learn and feel like your doing something productive (Dps/Tanks dont get me wrong).

I also enjoy of being a powerful pvp healer, nothing more fun then watching someones jaw drop after you land a huge heal on some poor person that was about to die and then watch them get thier revenge on them ^^.

Both. Though the cleric will get leveled first. Buffers are never appreciated as much as healers, and I like being loved.

I will most likely become a cleric. I seem to do good in mmo's when I have a class that just full on heals but yet the game does get pretty boring later on. I'll probably just make another character if it gets boring later on.

I have look at both, One for more over PVP Vs PVE, It's nice beable to keep a party alive but if i can drop someone as well thats always a plus.

You bet as cleric you will be needed in partys.....actually they will soon treat you like an tool. Or some terrain object. Andyou will be yelled at why didt you heal better? you heal your head off to keep em alive and onfirst mistake(maybe not even your fault) they will flame you. And blme everything on you. Becoz "you only heal" .

Anyway i pick cleric to. With this summonable crystal thingy we might have the chance to dps and heal to. For chanter....i like that to but i liek pure classes a lot more.

Ahhhh Don't get me started on that! OH my god! It's always the healer Fault ALWAYS Any tank i have had in any game, Turn on me and was like why aren't you healing?! How did i die? What the hell happen? And I sigh and i say, because your a craptasic bad tank, So your fault you died. When it come to aggro(headdesk) And they pull more then 3 mobs and they dont aoe aggro them all or dont even hit them all and then they think your going to heal them! And get yourself killed. So much abuse to healers and yet i still play them each game.

Chanter, I like being a mysterious twist on a class. I always take the off shot rather than the generic. I'll always be a spirit master instead of a sorcerer, gladiator instead of templar and all that.

sort of off topic ooh! chanter and cleric are 50/50 right now

The chanter just seems more interesting to me and is more like my playing style, so of course that's what I voted for. I like to be a support character, but be able to dish out some helpful damage too, if needed.

Edit: oops it appears I tipped the carefully balanced scales.
