Buff to gain health when you hit the enemy

I'm looking to play a character that has a buff to gain HP every time you hit the enemy. In L2, I used a buff like this with a pole character to clean multiple rooms in seconds. If there is any character in Aion that has this buff then it could be the greatest exp/time combo (with another pole character) in the game.

Does anyone know if one of these buffs exist in Aion yet? I would expect the chanter to be likely to have this buff.

The chanter still list is pretty complete translation wise (as the skill list is in CB2) and there isn't a buff like that. The cleric list isn't so finished so its hard to say.

They're here at the wiki. The only three that are filled out to 40 are assassin, chanter, and spirit master.

And for some reason the chanter skills don't show up on that page, but they're here.

Haha now worries. I had to be shown that they were in the wiki also, I didn't even think about it at the time. I didn't know chanters had aura's at all, lol, then someone showed me a skill list.

You'd be better off rolling a Cleric, and cast HoT's on your party member, (Heal over Time spells).

The Chanter has a Vampire buff which makes you drain HP everytime you attack a monster, just like in L2. I think this is what you wanted...

Where do you see that? I was looking at the skill list and didn't see anything similar to that. Unless I skipped over it somehow lol.

Even IF such a buff would suddenly appear - I mean... lol... we don't even know yet if it's possible to do AOE parties in Aion (haven't seen any social mobs in PvE videos), I haven't seen any AOE melee skills, etc., etc.
And btw.: Vampiric Rage health gain is negligible in PvP, so I don't expect it to be implemented (PvE is as easy as it should be).

Well according to a Chinese fansite (Here for those who are interested and able), Chanters do have a targetted vampiric buff, and at least gladiators have area physical attack skills. The thing is though, in order for a vampiric sweeping group to sustain itself, the attackers need a weapon that hits multiple target with auto-attacks. Currently there's no info on whether or not there will be an AoE melee weapon, but then they do have an aoe damage debuff.. Hmm.

I took a look at the translated Chinese fansite (google translate) and the last skill on the list is something vampiric with a single target. The only thing is that when looking at the existing list of skills compared to the list on the Chinese site, there wasn't much different, so the skill might be introduced after level 40 (the limit of the information that went into the wiki) which might cut down on its usefulness for leveling.

Then again, just a subtle reminder: the skill lists aren't finished and I know one of the administrators was asked why they didn't update the skill list and mentioned it would be too much work for something that would probably change by the end of beta.

I think you're all ignoring the important part of this thread- the rest of it:

If you're hoping for a game that has a single ability which is completely overpowered and allows you to win very easily, I hope this is not the game for you, and I'll quit.

In other words ur clueless of what that guy was talking about. The buff that he was looking for was usefull only in pve for melee type characters in L2. There is nothing overpowered about a buff that allows you to obtain hp points by hitting mobs instead of receiving constantly healing spells.[ps: it doesn't work when using skills]
