Priest/Cleric summon?

I think it's just an attack, but that orb-like attack that shoots lightning. Is it some kind of summon? Is it a cleric only attack/summon of some sort? Can anyone shed some light on it? (You can see it in the CG cleric video)

I heard its somewhat of a turrent - that summons and releases a source of lightning damaging a target for a certin amount of time.

That's cool, any knowledge of which class gets it? Cleric skills aren't on the wiki, is it most likely Clerics'?

It's a Cleric only skill (*) . The first rank is at level 16.
From what I've read it is a "summoned" crystal that shoots what looks like lightning at your enemies, like a previous poster commented, some have described it as a turret.
No idea how agressive it is, in the sense if it will only attack your target or if it will attack anything in it's proximity. From the fuzzy wuzzy auto-translations, it seems it will attack the target enemy at the time of casting. Not sure if there is a cooldown involved, but it will certainly a limited duration ie will only last for 15 seconds.

(*) Barring any possible crossover via stigmas etc. looking at the chanter skill list they don't have it

Thanks Lusitano, I think that explained everything I was unsure of. That makes clerics better fighters than I thought.

Whatever it is, it looks interesting. Especially if its like a pet that follows you around for a set time, blasting down enemies while you can continue to buff and heal! ^_^

In CoX there was a build that had something like it, Empathy/Lightning I believe it was.. Empathy was the main healing set, and Lightning gave you a ball of light pet that would do independent damage while allowing you to still heal. ^_^
So I'm hoping its like that.

Voltaic Sentinel. Those types of summons were fail if you ask me. All the aggro they got was instantly transfered to you. Controller/Empathy is the new way to go now. You get a buffable pets, that had their own aggro, could be teleported, and has more than 1 attack.

This summon is different since it looks like it can be completely upgraded and stuff. Since it last for a short time I don't see it over aggroing or anything.

It's stationary, think of it as like a ward or turret.
