I think the majority of MMO gamers agree. Buffs should be helpful not necessary.

Games that allow you to jump in and fight die and get up and continue (via a rez) keeps action up and fun.

Games that require buffs or there is no way you're going to efficiently kill mobs is a very bad idea. This basically tells everyone hey, you need a second account, a buffer, or this game will be no fun. We are really bad at designing solid stand alone characters so we'll require you to run a buffer (probably on bot) in order to play this game. If that's the case then the game should have been designed so that you control multiple units at one time instead of just one.

You can agree or disagree but buffs should never ever in the history of games be implemented the way lineage 2, original SWG (pre CU) or later versions of EQ1 did them.

I wonder what buffs they will have...like if it would be possible to go battle priest like in some games

If they have short-time powerfull buffs it might work to make one. If they have weak long-term buffs i think i'll pass.

I'm not cheap to buy, they'll have to make those buffs tide-turning to make me grind a master of boredom. And i'm sure i'm not the only one to think like this.

Still undecided between Cleric or Chanter. I normally play healers but I'll be waiting to make my final decision depending what they do with the class.

I am making a cleric and sole devote it to healing + buffing. I might get 1 paralyze skill, but nothing else offensive. Best healers are those that focus on healing/buffing only.

I am thinking of making chanter too, but not sure what i am going to do with it yet.
