Wow amazing boss model, but yea can a brotha get a void zone!

That guy actually looks fierce !

It will be interesting to see how the pvpve bosses go .. it seems like I would just wait for it to be at 10% then gank the other raid and kill the boss. Would be fun at first, but there's tremendous potential for griefing it seems.

From what i've seen Aion is going above and beyond in creating great looking bosses. A lot of other popular MMOs just use the same skin and recolor/resize the boss and maybe give it different moves. Its good to see original and great looking monsters.

I don't really care that it's pure tank and spank but this fight was like 30 minutes >_>; That's a bit over the edge. Think they're adding "not falling asleep" as part of the encounter.

Well I'm not sure why all of you are saying "only tank and spank". Are you expecting some kind of WoW boss fights, where everyone needs to perform 110% and maybe then you can kill the boss?

But it looks somewhat decent and nice. Guess that boss isnt one of the hardest ones. But worth doing still?

I hope this wasn't a serious statement. I don't think that all bosses need some uber strat but I think final dungeon bosses certainly do. Tank and spank is boring as hell and requires no strat, this will not keep players interested in the PvE content. There needs to be some sense of accomplishment. I am a huge PvP fan myself but that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be meaninful PvE as well.

Not all Raid bosses are in a spot where you can get ganked by the other side, but some are for sure and you can be nailed by the opposite faction while engaged with them.

All PvE is not easy mode. I played EQ2 for years and a lot of the PvE raid bosses are rough even after the first kill. They require a ton of strat and one minor slip up can wipe the raid, especially in the TSO expansion.

There needs to be some meaningful PvE in an MMO to keep a big and varied player base. I am sure Aion will achieve this though so not concerned atm.

The first time you kill a new mob it always takes a long time but you get better and better to where it wont take as long. Also, it wasn't a full group and you can't tell how good each person was really doing from that video.

No PvE and no leveling at all, best would be start at maximum level got all skills and all players the same equip and start PvP. No drops and no crafting. No chance to get other equip.

Thats the greatest mess I've ever heard but besides that even this would be better than Tank'n'Spank.

Because tank and spank means even the most dumb kid on the world could beat the biggest Raidboss and get the Equip with which it would nyerk you all up in PvP no matter how good you are.

In WoW you had to be smart for the big raids like SSC and TK, and even at the Release of WoW there where Bosses with (little) tactics in the instances. Uldaman for example, the last boss brings statues to live which some players have to nuke fast and things like that.

Tank and Spank is always the same buttons again and again. Sh... a nyerking monkey could do that.

No PvE and levelling and that stuff at all so you could right start with PvP, or Bosses with tactics. That's my oppinion.
