2000 platinum coins for a weapon!

Yes that's quite insane, but does anyone know where to find the npcs who give these quests that reward a platinum coin?

in thebomos and it takes 57 mobs to finnish the quest 1 time. I did it for 1 coin and got bored, they are lvl 46-47 mobs aren't to hard for me to kill. But you need to kill 117000 of them to get 2000 coins.

and thats if u just want the weapon there are also armor and other things you can buy with the coins for ridiculous amounts. oh and if its like the other coin stores you might not even get something your class can use. wouldn't that be fun.

I think for this one you get specific rewards based on your class. But uh, totally not worth it, since the weapons don't have attack speed.

Do you get to pick the weapon, or is it randomly given?

Also does it suck as much as the other Rank X Elyos/Asmo Solider gear?

I have yet to see any coin item that was even worth considering getting. You could farm mobs for flux and other drops to make the lvl 50 gold weapons in the time it takes to do this quest.

cloth and chain gloves give 8% attack speed, some weapons do have attack speed, like spear and staff, majority of these rewards really not worth it for most classes, then again u can get armor pieces for only 1K coins which isn't THAT hard to get, each time u turn the quest in u also can receive 1-3 demon eyes, those can can be traded in for more platinum coin for a price (u can pay 1k, 10k, and 25k) paying 25k can give u between 3-6 more platinum coin, i did the quest 4 times and received 36 coins in total.

yea its time consuming, yea its not THAT amazing, but since u grind already, might as well do it towards a goal, lvl 46 free gold armor / weapon is nice, my only issue is that the golden book / orb from there not only doesn't have cast time or attack speed, but the stats on it are almost similar to betoni's one, and thats just retarded.

if u dont have amazing gear doing this quest would be worth it.

The gloves are definitely worth it, if you don't do anything else other than platinum coins and the campaign quests you can easily get the gloves by the time you ding 48. Even if you're a plate/leather wearer, you might still want to pick up the chain or cloth gloves just for the attack speed, assuming you don't have an expert crafter that can just make AtkSpd gloves for you.

The rest of the armor is pretty good too; while you're busy grinding away for the level 50 gear, you can fill in the gaps with crafted gear and spending your kinah on buying coins or angel/demon eyes off of other players. 1000 coins sounds like it'd take forever but in actuality (if you have good luck) it shouldn't take you more than a week.

The weapons on the other hand... eh, I just don't see the point of putting in so much effort for an item that will still eventually be outdated. Better to save your sanity for Miragent/Fenril's questline, so you can get one of the best weapons in the game (at immense cost).
