Kurngalfberg Protector Set (asmo)

On Aionarmory u can find quests for lvl 45 blue set similar to what u could get from Mist Mane village farming. As reward u can get Blue lvl 45 speed boots with +22% speed boost. There are also rewards with blue lvl 45 weapons (they got +15% att speed). Now my question is: where to get the quests - i know already what kind of materials u need for them but i cant find anywhere info about quest giver / pre-req quests to start.

Do you know if there is any pre-quest? I can see the quest mark, but the NPC doesn't give me any quests.

Any help would be appreciated (PS: I'm lvl 44, so in theory he should give me the quest).

It is my believe that Svafnir will talk to you if you have the right title active. I don't have every title one can get up to this level though, and none of the ones I've tried have worked. His quest icon does "reset" its animation every time I change titles next to him, so it seems like the right idea.

If anyone with lots of titles wants to try them and see if any work, it would be great to know how to get Svafnir talking. You can be as low as 41 to get some of his quests.

I've looked a bit further, it seems that all the quests he gives (that reward blue armor / weapons) are completed inside the Draupnir Cave - so maybe you need to complete some kind of attunement first.

Speaking of which - does anyone knows how to get attuned to Draupnir Cave?

Not sure where it is for Asmodians, but the Elyos equivalent opens up after you complete a Spy quest in the Draupnir cave area ("Into the Mau Spy").

Three quests open up, one for Shoulders/Boots/Gloves, ne for chest and one for legs. I'd assume the weapon quest opens upon completion of the full armor set.

for asmos u must complete all the campaign quest in beluslan then u can go into drapunir, i haven't tried to get those items yet but i will today when i get home from work.

To be able to receive quests from Svafnir you must change your 1_enu.pak & 2_enu.pak to Example: 1_enu.wtf & 2_enu.wtf

Log-in and everything should be in Korean. You will be able to accept 1 quest from him which leads you to talk to a few NPCs.

I am level 47 and I still wasn't able to receive the quests for the blues though. I am not sure if a title is required either.

Sorry it took me so long to verify the info, but here's the scoop on this armor.

Cerum's info worked for me as far as getting the first quest. You must go into "Korean mode" to obtain (and complete) Svafnir's initial quest of running around talking to Dewi, Thor and Nerita and then Svafnir once more) and I then got the 3 quests from Red Mane Cavern (from Thor, Delris and Siegfried). I finished the quests from Thor and Delris (one was to kill the weapon, and the other to get the bioweapon remote) and the 3 quests opened up from Svafnir without having to go into "Korean mode" again.

The 3 quests were for armor, "Making a Small Flame Ward, "Making a Huge Flame Ward", and "Making a Blue Flame Ward." I did not receive the weapon quest ("Materials for All Magic Wards").

"Korean mode" also is needed for 2 other quests that I know of, a level 40 quest from the Red Mane shaman, and a level 45 quest from Daskair of Pandemonium if you did his previous quests.

The items for the armor are no trade. Balaur Rainbow Scales drop from any mobs in Draupnir randomly, while Blue Balaur Blood always drops 1 from the early named. I have not encountered the Balaur Magic Crystal because the group ran out of time, but probably drops of off the deeper named.

The armor isn't all that good, but the weapon is decent. However as I said, I have yet to unlock the quest, and the effort it takes to probably isn't worth it, better to just hope for drops in Draupnir which are all much better.

You don't have to change your language pack...

All you need to do is complete the group quests given by the ghost lady at the observatory. Killing the 9 warmongers, then the trainers and then collecting the weapons. Then just go talk to Sfavnir and you should be able to receive the armor quests, you can't do the weapon quest until you have all the armor quests done.

I can say for sure that doing just her quests did not open up Svafnir's armor quests for me personally. Something else may have, but it was not that. Maybe doing the primary Draupnir quests as I mentioned would do it alone? I had all her quests done until the repeatable one, and I never finished Svafnir's repeatable either.

I think you need to finish all the Balaur slaying quests to start it. Quests such as the Balaur Assassin and some of the other quests.

Well, I couldn't receive his quests until I finished the observatory group quests (along with the rest of my guild). None of us had to change language packs to receive the armor quests...just after completing those observatory group quests were we able to.
