Commander Barkarma - Draupnir Cave
What is the most effective strat for a balanced group when fighting Commander Barkarma. He doesn't seem to do anything special other than spawn 3 adds every now and then. the problem we where having is that the adds cannot be CC'd and it was difficult for the tank to hold agro on all 3 of them as our healers (the cleric/chanter) kept swapping agro. The double AOE stun/damage coupled with the adds was too much for our healers to heal through.
I understand in older versions of the game it was possible to leesh the adds until they reset but it looks like they have since got a speed buff and cannot be leeshed. Any advice from someone who has killed Barkarma in the current version would be appreciated. Thanks __________________ Quote:

Well i havnt done this place yet but just from reading maybe when the adds come out have a glda OT them while a chanter heals him and have your Sorc and *** pick them off 1 by 1 while your temp is still tankin boss and clerics heals.
Group set up would be Templar Sorc Sin Chanter Cleric Glad Just |

we had
templar 48 glad 47 sorc 49 sin 49 cleric 48 chanter 48 the first add pop (@75%) is "easy" ... 3 "2 star" elites, don't remember their level (they grapple ... immu cc ... and run very fast) each dps (glad/sorc/sin) catch an add for save healers and after we focus 1 by 1 when the aggro is "fine" the templar go away with the boss for the ae the 2nd add pop (@50%) ... 3 "5 stars" elites 50 (immu cc, grapple, speed run) we had wipe every try at this phase the boss does 3 chain ae at 50%- with the 3 add :/ the only solution, I think, it's to try to aggro the 3 add with a glad+healer and keep alive just a few seconde ... during this time, the rest of the team run at the opposite place with the boss when the glad+healer die, normaly the 3 add will return at their pop spot (carreful to their aggro range ... 25-30yards) but it's very difficult to catch the 3 add when they pop we'll also try to let the tank solo with the boss just before the pop add (just for 0,5% or something like that) ... all the team go far away ... when the tank will die, may be just the boss will run to the rest of the team, without the add (coz the add will not have the rest of the team in their aggro list) or the tank + healer ............ I think Koreans do not ask a nerf because they were reset the add and also because they are mostly all good stuff 50 as the capitaine grogget of shuugo when shuugo was released, players were almost all 50, so it was "easy" ... while in leveling it is impossible to kill (hence the nerf to the next patch) there they have corrected the reset of adds, but eventually almost 50 does not order it ... they are mostly to DP and therefore no one goes up the "difficulty" of this fight ........ I think we'll go 50 and doing DP + Adma ... and we will not return to Draupnir ++ |

Pretty sure you just have to have the final campaign quest in Beluslan. You really won't stand much of a chance in the instance until your entire group is 45ish, though, and Commander Bakarma won't be doable until close to 50.

where is it? and is there some kinda attunement required. so im guesings u need the finnish the quests in heiron for elyos to get inside?

Finish all of the campaigns in beluslan. I know you can get get in there at a minimum of lvl42.
* The last campaign in beluslan is the one where you need to enter Draupnir Cave. I would go with somebody who knows the way or you will be in there for atleast 5+ hours. I was under the impression that the adds reset, but it seems they have fixed that. No attempt yet on the boss, only farming the other 3 for yellows:P __________________ Signature fail. ae taunt doesn't change the fight
the healer will aggro heal just after a few seconds ... and it's insane to kill 3 elites 50 "5 stars" in the place of the ae stun/dd boss the only chance, at the 2nd pop adds, it's to separate the boss and adds ... it's impossible to kill the 2nd pop adds in the ae boss ++ |
