why is the automatic assumption that all "6vsX" should be "organised" in some way. what ever happened to just roaming? is it really that hard to grasp the concept of being in a single group of players, roaming *wherever* and hoping to meet *whoever*.

warhammer 6v6 was an anomoly and an unfortunate circumstance to make the best of a bad situation, it sucked. please try to grasp that roaming FG PvP was not 'invented' by warhammer and that no one with any real interest in PvP wants anything to be regulated, organised or otherwise bound by some kind of rule-set beside that of a basic respect for one's opponents where groups try to avoid rolling over groups that are already fighting/adding on fights etc.

Oh really? We did not know this. We thought that Warhammer was the first PVP-MMO of it's generation and that nothing had been done before that was focused on player vs player. It's truely remarkable that you are now able to bring this to our attention.

not a lot of old daoc guilds will be going, but new guilds comprising some of us will be and some guilds of old daoc players are waiting to see how the game pans out before rolling as far as i know.

from that thread of those i know - temerity, kompaniet, keyboard cowboys and war legends are/were daoc guilds or are comprised of daoc players.

UO / L2 Guild actually. Couldnt care less about DAoC people who think it was the be all, end all PvP MMO.

@miri, did I say we expect it to be like WAR? Nope, you just assumed so. The reason why there's the word "organized" is that we dont care two bits about guilds that recruit anyone that comes knocking and run around with groups that have no thought or planning put into them. Organized refers to the actual guild more than the PvP circumstances.

We want _all_ kinds of PvP.
