Plus yes i will be making an asmo alt if i can it's best to see both sides of the story rather than one and the community here is pretty decent so i doubt there will be too much hate when it comes to the battles in Aion.

If you're going to present ideas and expect anyone to take them seriously, at least make them readable. Hopefully one day you will realize this. Then that will make you realize that your font color doesn't make you different, and sure as hell won't get you far. TBH, I could care less what people say about my race.

I'm with Omegaforce and many others, couldn't care a less what peeps say. But, I have chosen Asmodians mainly because I like the Fierce look, the Wings that remind me a vampire and so many other features. Also because I'm a person who likes confusion, chaos and Post-Apocliptic cenarios.

Play what u like the most and shoot those quotes to your rear.

Plenty of people did and will take it seriously, if my text was truly blinding you wouldn't have even taken the time to respond, nor would you actually be able to.
This "common sense" you speak of is a total contradiction of your argument, you are not yourself using common sense..
In no way can text on a computer screen blind you, and the fact that you wouldn't take me seriously because of the color of my text is what is truly ridiculous.
I have nothing to "realize" as you claim, and actually I think you need to realize that just because the way I present myself is in a manner that you dislike does not mean that is everyones opinion. As you can see majority responded in a nice, friendly manner, even if they weren't fond of my text choice.
The fact that you had to come forth in a rude, insensitive, and immature way proves to me that you are exactly what you are trying to label me as, an obnoxious 10 year old boy. That I hope to god never plays on the same server as me.

Apparently this is the answer to my thread, Elyos think we're heartless because jerks like you choose to play Asmodians and act childish over things that really don't even matter.. If I find further proof of this theory then I may reroll Elyos to avoid meaningless conflict over cosmetics.

Lol, I can see Kitten's text just fine, and if you have problems reading it, you can just highlight it with your mouse, but anyway back on topic :P.

I can't really blame them for thinking of the Asmodians for being evil or anything like that, I mean if you take a look at them, they certainly look quite evil and sinister. But it's always unwise to judge a book by it's cover, I'm pretty sure the Asmodians are just as "good" as the Elyos and that they happen to look like that because of the part of the planet they live in.

TBH, when i first began to learn about Aion i preferred Elyos over Asmodians, but now I dont like one over another. Actually, i think eventually there will be a lot more Asmodians than Elyos.... Sure, the Elyos (the race as much as their lands) are really beautiful and magic looking... however, the Asmodians are less human-looking... that dark feeling they have, in my opinion, makes them feel very "bad-***", for lack of a better word, and I think many players will prefer Asmodians because of this. I mean, just look at the "Asmodians have pretty zones too"... I've always been a fan of dark-mystic looking ambients.

Of course, Elyos have their thing too (no pun intended xD), i dont think anyone can deny that beauty is cool, too....

as for me, i think i'm gonna have BOTH an elyos and an asmodian

also, i understand well than Asmodians are not evil, just evil-looking... i mean, in WoW, not even the Horde (which has even undeads) was evil!! They are just at war with the alliance, but they're good people too and just fight for survival, anyone who understands that can very well understand the asmodians ;D

Maybe I'm not normal for wanting to be an Asmo? I think the look of the Asmodians, their land, mane, pointy ears, glowy eyes, bat wings, and so on is beautiful! ^_^

But the most upsetting thing for me is when I hear, "The immature players will play Asmo".

The two biggest MMORPGs out there right now that specifically place you on one alliance or the other are, CoH/CoV, and WoW. I have played Heroes, Villains, Alliance and Horde extensively, and I have to tell you folks.. There are immature players on every side!
There will always be the "LOL OWNED U" jerk who kills you unfairly, and there is always the little kid who just doesn't know how to play, but likes to brag that he does.

I just wanted to see if any other Asmodians are also hurt by fellow gamers who are dying to play this game bashing us Asmos in more ways than I feel like bringing up. :[

I'm not even going to address the whining about text and whatnot in this thread. All of that made the thread completely uninteresting to read -- so I didn't read it.

To the OP:

You're right. Immature players exist on both sides. (As well as the middle ground, these forums.)

But, I don't think you should be worried about what people think of the side you play. Play what you like and enjoy it. If you worry with what others are 'saying' about how your character looks in a video game, you will only lessen the quality of your experience. I've stopped posting on these forums as much because the level of immaturity has increased tenfold. I only check the RSS now for news on the game, and I'm no longer interested in being a part of a fan community that is beginning to remind of the reasons why I stopped visiting WoW's official forums.

Ignore all of this garbage, get some real-life friends to play Aion with you and have a good time together. It's not hard to leave the petty flames and idiotic blah blah behind for the sake of enjoying a game.

I'm not upset by comments anybody makes, I like Asmodians and that's all it takes for me to play one. Not everybody has the same tastes as I do and that's to be expected, so why should I be offended?

Regarding the pink text, chill out people. I'm not too fond of pink and I would have had some trouble reading the text as well, but that's when I highlighted it, read the whole thing, and just look at me now. I'm alive, responding politely, and I can still see.
