Be it Elyos or Asmodians there will be all types of players in both for the worst or for the better thats why one should choose a side he likes not for some pre made up concept of any kind.
ps: if we could swich faction with our curent char it would be something i would consider Hehehe ^^

The only time anyone can ever say "That race is too immature" is on private servers with small populations. Where everybody knows everyone and any new people are probably a friend of another person. This isn't the case with Aion and wont be until the private servers start to pop up and even then it wont have anything to do with the retail players because the populations will be so large all over the place that it'll be near impossible to know every last person who plays. There will eventually be those who stick out on each side but their personalities will be as different as night from dark. You shouldn't let it bother you if anyone says "your race is so this" because after its been said enough it'll eventual flip and then it'll be "this race is so that" and continue on in a mindless cycle of public opinion that nobody really cares about at all.

It would be fun to switch factions with the same character. There would be too many people that would switch everytime they got mad at someone so it's probably a good thing that you can't.

I have found that the ones that are quick to judge "evil", are usually the ones that have an insecurity that they have to be on the"right" side. good/evil are, in most cases, a matter of perception, and I usually find the ones "casting stones" are usually smug, arrogant theologian-wanna-be's. There has been more "evil" done by people in business suits vs Leather Jackets. I prefer the "AntiHero", myself, and prefer my characters to have a more "statistical"l (read:cynical) outlook. Like the old, classic, Legacy of Kain series.. who was "good", and who was "evil" in that?

Anyways even though I play elyos does not mean i think asmo is evil. I did read the lore and both sides have its goods and bad ^^. I think the asmos look 'wild and cool' and hell they even have better battle music in their maps haha.

I play elyos only cos its closer to human and I just want to role play an alias that resembles or close to looking me in the way i imagine anyways. I am uncomfortable with dark scenery :[

But yah pvp is fun and no grudges held.

The two biggest MMORPGs out there right now that specifically place you on one alliance or the other are, CoH/CoV, and WoW. I have played Heroes, Villains, Alliance and Horde extensively, and I have to tell you folks.. There are immature players on every side!
There will always be the "LOL OWNED U" jerk who kills you unfairly, and there is always the little kid who just doesn't know how to play, but likes to brag that he does.

I just wanted to see if any other Asmodians are also hurt by fellow gamers who are dying to play this game bashing us Asmos in more ways than I feel like bringing up. :[
