ya its kind of the whole point of the game... but i actually lol because I myself was gonna play elyos and after i leveled my first toon to ten ... I was kinda not impressed with there side....i then rolled asmo and woot woot the colors and the beauty of this race and land has captured my interest and i feel connected to asmo now

After playing Asmo, I believe that their landscape and how they appear before us gives us the feeling that they are dark, or evil, because they represent dark colors. While Elyos represent heavenly blues, and white.

I do think the "Asmos are evil!!" view is unfair. But I also think the "Elyos are wimps" view is unfair. Both races have their strengths and weaknesses, and both will see their fair share of immature players.

Psshh, all it means is that they will play the Elyos exactly as they are portrayed, arrogant and full of themselves. Most of them that feel that way probably didn't read the lore on both sides. I will admit at my very first glimse at this game I too wanted to be Elyos, but then I read things, I educated myself. Asmos are the way we are because we are survivors. We were not created with silver spoons in our mouths. We were once one in the same, but now we have evolved, we are stronger for it because of where we survive. They are comfortable and we are fighters. I think it will just make the game play all that more interesting! I say to hell with it! Let's enjoy it for what it all is!

On a side note, both sides are pretty evenly spread, I totally can see things from both sides, but I will say that Asmodians did get the short end of the stick when the lands where seperated. I just love this entire game, and I will likely play both later on down the road,

But I must ring in agreement that immaturity will filter into to all factions as it always has, such is the nature of the MMO beast. Regardless of age, newbs will always be present. Best thing to remember is the "ignor" button. Works everytime. ^_^

i dont mind, honestly. That's just kinda how life is the for asmo's. We got screwed over by the war, not like we chose the war torn landscape or to grow claws, it was just natural mutations to help us better defend our selves and prosper in such a harsh place. Also, i have no fking clue why everyone things we have bat wings, i mean have you ever seen a bat? there spiny, leather, and pitch black.

We have Raven wings, that much like our other mutations, have allowed us to become quite the stealthy, deadly, little race that we are. We will continue to be misunderstood, but that is not going to to deter us from sneaking into your camps at night and slaughtering you all.

I think the Asmodians look way way wayyyyy cooler, everything about them is so bad ***. The only thing i'm a bit disapointed about it the Elyos get a better looking half of the planet. I'm all about gorgeous landscapes and beautiful scenery when it comes to games, so I'm a bit jealous.

I have played both sides in WoW and the Aion beta, and I can say there is an even distribution of immature players on both sides. There are kids who like to be the "good" side and see themselves as heroes, and there are kids who like to play the freakiest or most monstrous characters they can. Each side also has an equal share of skilled players and elitist pricks. I say just pick whichever side appeals to you and seek out those of like mind.

It's often the most immature players that accuse others of being immature. They're certainly the loudest about it.

Ill admit, when i first read the lore, from both sides, i thought that the elyos were way better, during the beta i got two elyos charictes to level 10. Then, in search of different quests, i made an asmodian caricter. I was quite suprised buy the depth of the asmosian charicters, and after playing through their quests, i realised that the asmodians had much more to them then i orignally thought they would. And comparing them to the elyos, i found that i really did favor their side, so thats the reason that ive decided to make my main an Asmodian, and also, there is no comparision in awesomeness of looks ^_^

Well I definitely will be Asmodian. I have a thing for angels Dark or Light. I love the concept of this game.

To be honest, my plans for my Character that will be Elyos, is that she will be on of the few who believes that this whole situation is unfair.

She'll be the one Elyos that actually understands the Asmodians simply because of her compassionate nature. I plan to write about her thoughts eventually but I'll mainly be an asmodian.

I love our race. It's easy to be misunderstood. I have to fully experience this game so i will have to play on both sides, but my main is absolutely asmodian. My heart goes out to them and I admire their strength and resolve.

Hear hear, thats also a great reason to be an Asmodian, even as an elyos, i would get annoyed by people bashing the other side for silly reasons such as manes and landscape (which i think is beautiful btw)

a buddy of mine that plays WOW also said that he thinks people that will play as the Asmodians will be "jerks" and ruin the game for him. it sucks because i was the one that kind of got him into the game and i planned on fighting along side the asmodians
